I'm not good at describing myself. Plus, my writing will tell you more about myself than you should ever need to know.

But, to humor you...I have a husband, a squirmy son, and two cats. Though sometimes it feels like I have four cats... I started telling stories in the 3rd grade because my best friend and I rode a bus for an hour to and from school. To pass the time we told each other stories. I moved in the 6th grade and back then we had "nighttime minutes" on my mom's cell phone so I could only talk to her after 9PM (which was late anyway), so I started writing them down to share them with her on the weekends.
To this day (I won't tell you how many days have passed, but it's been several) we still write stories together and are currently working on a full-length novel to submit to publishers within the next year. Writing has always been my passion and I have taken many classes on creative fiction writing. I always jump at the opportunity to attend a writer's conference and I love learning. I love that moment when you tear a work to pieces only to rebuild it into something much better than it was. I guess a lot of writers hate getting critiqued; I live for improving a story and I get depressed when I can't think of things to fix to make it better.
