It is official that I've been exposed to a virus called fujoshi. Now because of this, I shipped a few male x male pairing with the former seme and the latter uke, namely;

1. Kaito x Shinichi/Kid x Conan (Detective Conan) Because the thought of a thief stealing the detective's heart is not a common theme and the concept of forbidden love is my aesthetic. Besides, ShinRan and KaiAo are too mainstream anyway
2. Kanou x Ayase (Okane ga Nai) The first rated M yaoi manga that I read and I absolutely love these two to death, even though I feel related to Kuba Homare. I also can’t believe that cute boy like Ayase could have so many admirers, it's very unreal. Good thing Kanou was there to protect him.
3. Kurogane x Fai (Tsubasa Chronicles) I think everybody would be frustrated by the way they're dancing around each other but never quite touching.
4. Sebastian x Ciel (Kuroshitsuji/ Black Butler) because no heart of a girl could resist their charms. And because there are so many fan-service.
5. Germany x Italy (Hetalia Axis Powers) I love the way Italy doesn't quite realize that he has Germany wrapped around his little finger, and I love the fact that Germany knows, but he doesn't really mind either.
6. US x UK (Hetalia Axis Powers) Because sometimes, all you need is a healthy dose of incest to brighten your day. So many things can be done with this ship and so many doujins to pick from.
7. Spain x Romano (Hetalia Axis Powers) I envy Romano sometimes, because it's not everyday you can find a lover who can understand everything about you and still accepts you anyway.
8. Toothless x Hiccup (How to Train Your Dragon) Because they have more chemistry than HiccStrid and if Toothless were a boy, I would bet he would be very cool and very cute altogether.
9. Satoshi x Daisuke (D.N.Angel) No reason. I just never knew that I liked shota before I saw them together.
10. France x UK (Hetalia Axis Powers) I'd to imagine that France is secretly having a crush towards England, and that's the reason why he's bothering him so much.
11. Russia x China (Hetalia Axis Powers) I love how China looks so small and feminine beside the tall and intimidating Russia. I liked to imagine that Russia is overprotective of him because he is physically small and they get along well because they both have wide lands.
12. Doumeki x Watanuki (xxxHolic) Because Watanuki is a tsundere and Doumeki is a kuudere. A very odd relationship is formed between the two, but I'm sure that they are actually care towards each other a lot. They just showed it in very different ways.
13. Nezumi x Shion (No. 6) They are a very sincere couple that touched my heart. Shion is a very innocent person who sees the brightness of everything, while Nezumi is just a survivor who wants to keep that innocence intact, even if he had to lie to him.
14. Seishirou x Subaru (Tokyo Babylon) Although I never personally read or watched Tokyo Babylon myself, some of the fanfictions did them justice. This sick couple is my new aesthetic for fictional couple. Not my ideal view for a real healthy relationship, of course. But somehow CLAMP managed to make the readers sympathized with them; not just with Subaru but also with Seishirou, the number one antagonist. It's hard to sympathize with antagonists so I have to give CLAMP points for that. (I wish I have the determination to read X/1999 just for the sake of Fuuma x Kamui, but my heart wouldn't be able to take it)
15. Touya x Yukito (Cardcaptor Sakura) When I watched CCS when I was six or seven years old, I never suspected anything between Touya and Yuki and just assumed that they are very good friends. Oh, how wrong I was when I reread the series a few months ago. CLAMP literally filled the manga with BL scenes between Touya and Yukito. They even made an official confession (albeit indirectly) out of Yukito that he loves Touya. I will never look at CCS the same way ever again.
16. Rikuou x Kazahaya (Drug Drop/Legal Drug) I read this manga just a few months ago, a bit later after rereading CCS. I can see why people are shipping these two. The manga is filled with cross-dressing Kazahaya and Rikuou teasing him relentlessly. But I can't help but noticing that the manga is filled with the same elements that would make XXXHolic. Perhaps it was an earlier idea before letting it simmer and become XXXHolic and that's why it was temporarily dropped? I don't know. I knew that it was only recently remade and continued again though, because the art-style in the latest chapters are similar to Tsubasa Chronicles and Gate 7, while the earlier style greatly resembling Tokyo Babylon and X/1999.
17. Viktor x Yuuri (Yuri!!! on Ice) I'm sure these two are everyone's favorite couple. Sixty years from now, everyone will call them the ship of dreams!
18. Otabek x Yuri (Yuri!!! on Ice) Don't be fooled. This Yuri is not the same Yuuri I just mentioned. Their relationship mellowed Yuri down and softened Otabek. These two are perfect for each other.

I think that's it, but I'm sure it'll increase in number.

Please note that I still cannot write yaoi stories comfortably. I can read them (even the MA rated) but writing them is another story entirely. I am still an adult woman with healthy hormones and I still put myself into the stories I write. Therefore, for the time being I will only write yaoi stories by genderbent the ukes into women while the semes are men. I am terribly sorry if this bothers you, but I still cannot feel comfortable writing two men kissing (or bed each other). I am not saying that men cannot bed each other--they can, I just don't want to write any details about it. Perhaps one day I will comfortable enough to write a real BL stories; who knows.

ANNOUNCEMENT

I am currently having some big projects going on, so How to be A Dragon's Hoard is now postponed, or in other words, HIATUS until I can take over it again.

I'm currently writing my thesis for Ph. D and having some big inspiration with a huge plot bunny hopping around my mind since at least December 2015. With these two big projects, I can't focus on How to be A Dragon's Hoard at all. Believe me, I tried. But I wasn't satisfied with how the next chapter turned up so I delete them all and started from zero. But the huge plot bunny is just right there, with the literal sign of "WRITE ME" made of neon on its forehead. I've been ignoring it for two years; I can't ignore it anymore, not when it already has a stable timeline, plots, and characters.

I can handle thesis and small fics; I've never had a problem with them before. But now, with thesis, this huge project, and small fics? No, I can't. I need to sacrifice the small fics unfortunately to concentrate on the big ones. I'm sorry but this project is just that big. It's too big for me alone to handle, so I even recruited my sister (who is also an author) to collaborate. I'm sorry for all readers who have favorited, followed, and reviewed my How to be A Dragon's Hoard. I really appreciate all of your times and your kind words really make me want to write them again, but I hope you understand. I'm sorry if you feel disappointed but I can't write properly when there's a huge plot bunny from another fandom practically begging to be written. (Just a heads up, it's from Danny Phantom fandom. If any of you from this fandom, we can fangirl together.)

I'm really sorry that I can't live up to your expectations, but we all have lives and our own style of living. You can be mad at me, or even unfollow my stories and I won't be able to stop you, but I implore you to understand this. I am just a human, an undergrad student, with no job and still depend on my parents. I make no money from all my writings and I don't take liberties from all the characters I've borrowed. So please understand where I came from.

At the last note, I just want to thank all my readers who took time to read my stories however shitty they were. No one more than me who understands that my writing is not perfect and I still need more practice. That's why I really appreciate all of your ideas, critics, and corrections. Please forgive me because I can't multitask and concentrate on different things at once and I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say. I kinda ranted for a while there.
