Meddlesome, Overprotective Fools: Should inspiration strike, I won't hesitate. My brainstorming has given me a definitive form for this fic: past moments from Ginny's point of view within a summer before sixth year/sixth year fic. So it will be a little bit of what everyone wanted and we'll all be happy. It may include HBP canon because I don't think it will dramatically affect the direction into which wanted to head.

Here We Go Again: I have put the editing/expansion process on hiatus in favor of the Believing in Trees trilogy. I definitely won't be touching this for a while because, after Meddlesome, Overprotective Fools is over and done with, I have to get to :cries: rewriting Believing in Trees and other things.

Update: There is a slight problem with the Believing in Trees trilogy - I accidentally deleted about 20+ pages worth of material for Believing in Trees, Lessons in Love, and Problem Child Plays Cupid - as well as Love Interrupted, for which I accidentally deleted my drafting/brainstorming. This does not bode well, because school is taking up all (yes, all) my time at present, which means I have very little time (if any) to spend on ficcing, a large part of which would have to be spent reconstructing what I already wrote.

Love Interrupted: A Malfoy/Weasley, D/G fic (whether romance or friendship is an open-ended question at the moment). Strongly historical in the sense of family history. I'll eventually update here with a better summary - I just don't want to give too much away.

Believing in Trees Trilogy (As of 6/15/05)

Believing in Trees: Part I of the Believing in Trees trilogy. A three-part fic. A thorough outline of the entire story and a good portion of chapter one, although the dialogue seems a bit rough, so I'd like to work on it to smooth it over. I haven't worked on it as much because I've been writing Part II and Part III, but these will be put on hold to get chapter 1 of this out.

"Believing in love is like believing in trees. Nothing you do or say is going to make it go away. So you’re left with no choice but to believe. That’s where the magic comes in." In three different eras, three interfering best mates and one penknife test the magic of love and faith and an old tree in an effort to give their friends a push in the right direction.

Snape Cookies: Not part of the Believing in Trees trilogy, but in the Believing in Trees universe. Discusses the origins of a gourmet treat mentioned in passing in chapter 3 of Believing in Trees and Lessons in Love (see below). Takes place in OoTP. I only have a general sketch of this, but this will be released after Part I of the Believing in Trees trilogy.

Lessons in Love: Part II of the Believing in Trees trilogy. Focuses mostly on one of the OCs introduced in chapter three of Believing in Trees and his family's dynamic amongst themselves, told in dialogue and heard from Harry's point of view. This one has about eleven pages of writing and, depending on how I feel about it when it's completed, will either be a one-shot or a three chapter fic.

ON THE HORIZON (COMING NOT-SO-SOON) (As of 11/22/05)

Problem Child Plays Cupid: Part III of the Believing in Trees trilogy. Focuses on the OC from Lessons in Love and how his little sister, family, and friends try to matchmake him and his best girl friend. I have about four pages of this - mostly dialogue. I need to work on the middle and decide, once and for all, how it's going to end.

Father of the Bride: A possible sequel to Here We Go Again, which has 2 pages of material thus far. However, I have to get through the Here We Go Again edit first before I seriously start writing this. (See above.)

Other than that, it seems to be pretty much a dead project unless I resurrect it as I plan to do with a fic written nearly two years ago (see above).

BETA-ING PROJECTS (As of 11/22/05)

I've beta-ed the following fics:

1) Jedi Tess of Gryffindor and Lee Velviet's Potter vs Malfoy: War's End here at ff.net. The edit's only just started, but the epilogue of the original version's just been posted. This is my favorite fic - I was a fan before I started beta-ing - and I definitely recommend it!

2) Siofra the Elf's The Portrait Chronicles at Fiction Alley. A WIP, also very highly recommended. However, Siofra and I haven't been in touch in a while, so I don't know where this project is going.

But I'm not working on either at the moment.
