Author has written 7 stories for StarTrek: Voyager, and Harry Potter.
Having absolutely nothing to do, I'll just update my profile a bit.
I'm 17, I go to school, my LKs are Computer Science and English.
I love reading and writing, drawing and, of course, photography.
I'm addicted to Harry Potter, LotR, Star Trek, poetry and Fuji. I'm member of far too many sites, I HEX around, space off and roam the cybermoors.
If you ever come across me make no sudden moves as then I might notice you and you will have no way to escape the wrath of my camera. Well, you will have on way. Chocolate. It's a good thing having chocolate.
Ok, I changed my profile name. On fictionpress, they don't allow several authors to have the same name, and as I don't like the idea of having a numereral appendix to my name, lys, I'm taking over the one I use on ezboard etc, Dawn Zabini.
cheers, ~Dawn
Thanks for the reviews everybody.
Now one thing:
dear sfcmdhq() :
Thanks for pointing out my spelling mistakes, I will edit that soon.
The "batteries" are those batteries we have nowadays. I DO know they have batteries in the startrek-verse, that's why I but the word in ""'s.
Constructive Criticism is always good to improve one's skills etc., but what you do is simple flaming. As you might remember, in the episodes "Endgame I+II" the furure was changed. So the Miral Paris we saw there, is now non-existent. Miral might become like her, but that is not guaranteed. If somebody writes a Chakotay fic for example, that is set after the last TV episode you for sure aren't going to say 'No, that doesn't work, he died', right? Because he died in an alternative future, just like the Miral you are referring to grew up in this future, that is now GONE!
Next point: Let's assume the future wasn't changed. The Miral we saw on Voyager was I think 22 or something, right? Well, MY Miral is only 17! It is not said she might not change in the course of action. It is simply unrealistic to assume you know "my" Miral, because you only read one(!) chapter, especially one in which didn't happen all that much.
Now about the "teenage" bit: I AM A TEENAGER, ALRIGHT?! I'm neither saying that my style is perfect, nor that my spelling is unfailable, nor that everything I write has to be seen as a fact. This is fanfiction! "Unleash your imagination...", remember?
Now to finish this: Do you really think you are in a position to call me or other people childish? If you think you have to flame, then at least not only write a comination of letters as a name, but give your email address, so I can defend myself or read one of your fics for that matter, because I'm actually kinda curious on YOUR writing.
By the way, I am not going to delete your review. I stand to what I say and write, and I am certainly not intimidated by your review, actually it even helped me becoming more sure of myself and my writing.
Now, if you want to say something that is not insulting or mean, I would appreciate if you send me an email or write another review etc. -But this time ... please include your email address, that is if you have enough courage to do so. You know, flaming anonymously isn't really a sign of strenght of character.
