Author has written 1 story for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. An A&E Biography: ABManyasbuttmonkey (or ABM) got his first big break when Kashmanik hired him as a writer on the fic-series Season 8 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Over the course of the season, he co-wrote two episodes, and wrote two himself - one of which was Emmy nominated*. He left the fic-series after just one season, and graduated onto The Lost Episodes fanfic, where he wrote two outstanding episodes, the second of which, a Xanya/Faith fic set during Conversations With Dead People, garnered him his second Emmy nomination*. His latest Lost Episode, "Goodnight", looks set to get him a third Emmy nomination - industry buzz suggests that he might even win the award this time around. ABM is a firm believer in having many projects on the go at once. As such, he's currently the head writer and showrunner of the soap "All My Boardies", set among the citizens and scenery of the Angel's Soul Spoiler Board. Now on the hiatus between its second and third seasons, the soap has attracted a sizeable fanbase, although Daytime Emmy nods still elude both him and the cast. Also on the back-burner for ABM are two other Buffy-related fics. One is a spin-off, set during the show's seventh season - although ABM has been quick to point out in recent interviews that its a spinoff only in that it involves fighting vampires. Currently, he has no plans to write anything beyond the initial planned 13 episodes, however if the series is successful enough, he may bring it back for another reduced run. There's also one secret project, which ABM says he is currently halfway through. He won't tell us what it is, but he says that it will revolutionise the way fans of Buffy will look at the final season, and the series finale itself. In his spare time, ABM is an avid TV fan. Among the many shows he proclaims his favourite, lie the obvious Buffy, Angel and Firefly. But there's also some other shows you may not expect him to be a fan off - Without A Trace, the only Jerry Bruckheimer drama he will actually watch; Ally McBeal, and he includes the disastrous fifth season in that, stating it an important exercise in how things can go terribly wrong from such fabulous beginnings; Roswell; and anything HBO deigns to produce, even Mind Of The Married Man. He's also a big movie buff, currently citing Lost In Translation as the best movie since Mulholland Dr back in 2001. Currently single, but on the prowl, ABM has been attached to fellow fic luminary Kashmanik: their break-up was not, however, the cause for ABM to leave the fic-series - ABM insists that he left before they even got together. So. There you have it. The life and times of one of today's greatest fic writers.
