Wad up! I'm a writer, I love writing poems, its exhilarating writing from your heart on matters that are evident in our everyday life and also those that are just fragments of ones imagination . To bring a smile to those feeling down or trapped by indescribable situations in their life is most rewarding, but I'm taking a big leap in the realm of story writing which to me is very new. * Freedom*

Freedom a solemn cry echoed across the plains and across the sky. Freedom oh it is I the one who fights for you daily. Battered and worn by the hands of time. Oh freedom why won’t you hear me? Beaten and bruised for what is right. Oh freedom I need you near me. Oh don’t let this be another cry of a broken spirit. Battered for days I bled in agony and pain as the memories of my home land plagues me.

Oh freedom why won’t you hear me. Oh that which was once so sweet as honey from the nectar now dried up with pain. A pain that is worse than death as it consistently reminds me that I am alive, with every agonizing breathe. Oh freedom I need you near me, to wonder the open plains, to behold the mightiness of God’s creations both great and small.

Deep winding rivers which so many called home. A home never to be seen again, Oh freedom, why won’t you hear me? Trapped in this body of pain as my soul dies, watched by those around me that envy my unjust demise as they are left to suffer, to slave and once more to die. The vultures lie in wait for my broken body. They lie in wait as the last breathe is pulled from my body like a pearl being pulled from its shell never to be seen again. I leave behind this unbearable pain and my broken memories. I am a slave no more, oh freedom I am so glad you heard me.
