![]() Author has written 5 stories for Mario, and Legend of Zelda. Hello, I'm PenguinForce! So yeah... I guess you'll want to know some stuff about me... hmm... well, I guess to start off, I write fanfiction. (Wow, no duh Captain Obvious!) Okay okay, I guess I'll tell you a little more about me. I'm a pretty friendly person so if you ever want to ask a question about any of my stories or talk about Zelda in general, fell free to send a PM! Location: Colorful Colorado, aka the best state in the USA! Likes: The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Chess, Snow, the Denver Broncos, my dogs who are a German Shepard mix and a Keeshond, overly analyzing literally everything about my life, and just being random and enjoying every minute of life! Dislikes: Homework, mundane textbooks (Pretty much all of them), bees and other insects with bee like nature like wasps, the extreme cold (like below 10 degrees Fahrenheit), the extreme heat (like 85 degrees and up), cleaning my room, and when the Denver Broncos lose. Especially when the Broncos lose. Sports: Swimming, my main and favorite sport that I... play? (I don't know, can someone really play swimming or is there another word to describe that?) I also play soccer, tennis and basketball in my free time as well as throwing a football around. Favorites: Favorite side character in LoZ: Malon from Ocarina of Time. It is hinted at in game and through Twilight Princess that Malon is the eventual girl Link ends up with... and I am a total Malink fan... hence why my first major story, A Pair of Unlikely Heroes (now discontinued) was all about that pairing. Medli from The Wind Waker is also up there as one of my favorite side characters, as well as Groose from Skyward Sword because... well... his character is just goofy and I love it. Favorite LoZ games: 1. Breath of the Wild 2. Ocarina of Time (First Zelda game I ever played!) 3. Twilight Princess 4. Skyward Sword 5. Majora's Mask Favorite form of Zelda in any LoZ game: The Zelda from Skyward Sword. She is so cute and I love her character as a whole. I actually felt a connection to her in the game and for the first time really cared about what happened to her. She is just amazingly adorable in this game and just an awesome character as a whole. Favorite form of Link in any LoZ game: The Link from Twilight Princess. The developers did an amazing job with the realistic appearance of Link and I loved the seriousness that his character evoked as well as the special moves he learned during that game. I really felt like he was a real swordsman in the mid evil times with the array of moves to defeat enemies. Favorite Disney Movie: Tangled! I love this movie and I can't really complain about a single thing that this movie failed to please me in... Oh wait, just one thing. Did Disney really have to cut her hair so short at the end of the movie? I mean couldn't they have left it shoulder length at least? Oh well, it wasn't my call. Other than that, the silly fun and laughter this movie offers never fails to please me, even after seeing it tons of times. Favorite Season: Winter. I love winter. Snow is truly what makes this season so wonderful. Maybe its also because of easy access to some of the best slopes in America but I just love bundling up in layers upon layers of blankets with my furry dogs next to me on a snowy night. And of course, sledding. How could anyone forget sledding? Favorite NFL team: I think this might be obvious but... The Denver Broncos!!!!! Side Note: Also, I realize that I have a lot of discontinued work. This is due to me growing not only as a person, but as a writer. Some of my earlier work just isn’t either up to my standards or I felt trapped with the plot, like with A Pair or Unlikely Heroes. I based it too close to the OoT plot and didn’t feel the freedom I wanted to have with the story. That being said, I am hoping that my current project, A Land Lost in Time will be my first completed, good story. This one has been like a stepping stone, a transition story from my younger, teen year writing to my writing as a young adult. Hopefully my successes with my writing hobby can grow and stay strong from here! Current Work: A Land Lost in Time- Legend of Zelda What happens when Link is denied to spend a life with his beloved princess who he has the deepest feelings for? What happens when she sends him back to relive his childhood and only he has a recollection of beating Ganon? What happens when Link must try to grow close to a Zelda who doesn't remember him if he wishes to save the Zelda he had grown to love when he saved Hyrule? What happens when I stop asking you questions? Find out by reading this story! (I promise I don't pose any dumb questions in it haha) Completed Work The Forgotten Hylian Holocaust- The Legend of Zelda A fun little, one chapter short story about the secrets of the Shadow Temple. I mean, in game, that place in Ocarina of Time was flat out creepy so I just had to write something about it! A very dark story, especially for me, but something fun to look back and read once in a while. If you have some free time and are looking for a quick read, check it out! :) Discontinued Work- Unless I get a ton of free time, I'll probably leave these stories alone. Maybe one day I'll pick them up again. The problem with them? The Great Mushroom World War... just flat out sucks. Again is a sequel that required me finishing A Pair of Unlikely Heroes, and A Pair of Unlikely Heroes just didn't allow me the creative freedom I wanted as I was forced to stick with the main Ocarina of Time plot. I just grew bored with it for the foreseeable future, it's done as well. Sorry, I promise I won't abandon A Land Lost in Time though haha :) A Pair of Unlikely Heroes- Legend of Zelda This is one of my best stories, and honestly one of the pieces of work that I am so excited to be writing. It follows the general story line of Ocarina of Time but I throw in a major twist. Malon will be joining Link instead of just waiting around to be side quest at the ranch. Like I said, it follows the general story line but I throw in way more action where there were some plot gaps in the story as well as some of my imagination to explain why certain things occurred in the game or why certain characters, like the running man, do what they do in the game. It is, in my opinion, a very interesting story as the adventure will alter dramatically with the addition of Malon! And if this summary doesn't sound interesting, just look at some of the reviews! I may come back to this one but for now, no future updates in the foreseeable future Again- The Legend of Zelda The sequel to A Pair of Unlikely Heroes and directly follows the events that unfold in it. At the end of Ocarina of Time, or my story above, Zelda supposedly sends Link and Malon back to relive their childhood but what happens when instead of seven years into the past, Link and Link only is transported to modern day Hyrule? He has to go through all the trials of the temples in this new world as well as defeating Ganon one more time. But what happens when Link meets up with Malon in this time way in the future? Is is the same Malon he remembers or has time changed her as well? Link must do everything again. No future updates will occur The Great Mushroom World War- Mario I really have nothing to say about this other than this story is very poorly written and is pretty crappy. It was my first fanfiction and the reason I joined this site but after realizing how I just kept going in circles in the plot and how nothing was happening as well as the crappy writing associated with it, it isn't that great of a story. However, I don't really believe in being embarrassed about my stories that I first wrote which is why I didn't delete this story. It kinda describes my progress from where I started to where I am now. All I can say is thank Goddesses (haha, LoZ reference) that my writing has drastically improved since then. If you want, you can read it but just know that there will never be another update to this story. |
