Hello! I'm Mad Violinist, and currently I'm rather new to the FanFiction.Net community. My blood type is A-, and my primary interests are music, art, writing, and reading, as well as studying ancient Egypt. Although my first story on this website will probably be some sort of Naruto fanfiction, expect to see something to do with ancient Egypt in the not-so-distant future!:) (or, perhaps Naruto in ancient Egypt???? That's a thought...)

I play the violin, trumpet, French horn, mellophone, and percussion, and I sing in my school's symphonic choir.

This year I will be a senior in high school. I plan to attend college and eventually become a forensic anthropologist with a concentration in Egyptology and East Asian Studies. Does anyone have good college recommendations apart from Miami of Ohio, Brown, Toronto, and New Orleans?

One thing I enjoy is taking a story (like Harry Potter, for example) and imagining a life within it. My fanfiction reflects this, as it typically involves an original character who is a part of that world. That character interacts with the people of that world, and perhaps stirs things up a bit. Sometimes I don't like the direction of a plot (like the whole obsession with Sasuke in Naruto Shippuden), so my original character will change it. I take great pleasure in rewriting stories my way.

Books: Vampire Kisses, Theodosia Throckmorton series, Harry Potter, Eye of the Moon/Eye of the Sun, Gothic Charm School, The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, Any books related to Egypt, Dracula, Dante's Inferno, Frankenstein, The Vampire Chronicles... But not Twilight.

Manga: Naruto, the Vampire Kisses manga, Yu-Gi-Oh (Original, Duelist, Millennium World-but I want NOTHING to do with GX or 5 D's. Just throwing that out there), Hikaru no Go, Fullmetal Alchemist, Shaman King, Loveless, Inuyasha, Vampire Knight...

Shows: Bones, The Legend of Korra (my favourite! although it made me want to pull my hair out at times), Avatar the Last Airbender, A Haunting, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh (even though I hate the censored version), and most of NCIS. Sometimes I also enjoy Trauma: Life in the ER, and I occasionally watch the History Channel when there's an ancient Egypt feature.

Movies: All of Miyazaki and Tim Burton's work, The Mummy series (save for the newest one), The Avengers, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Dracula, The Lost Boys, not Twilight, White:The Melody of the Curse, Goth, The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It (who doesn't love cheesy horror flicks?), Memoirs of a Geisha...
