Korra's a badass basketball player, but she wasn't ready for #22, Sato, who is equally as badass. But pretty. Pretty hot. And nice. Damnit. Her frustration lands them in an awkward position. College AU inspired by that that one handball/anime fall gif. Rated T for language.

During a trip to the South Pole, Asami reflects over the state of her relationship with Korra. This turns out to be a very difficult thing to do when one is surrounded by several hundred thousands squarekilometres of snow and ice and murderous arctic climate with nothing but polar bear dogs, otter-penguins and a godsmacking blizzard around you.

Of course, it doesn't take a genius to work out why, but now she's going to have to work out if Kyouko feels the same way! (Mostly cute fun, but gets a little emotional at times... Set in an au where Kyouko saves Sayaka)

Airport AU. One-shot. I saw a prompt on tumblr about meeting in an airport and this is the result.

They'd taken the IV out of his arm but the plastic around his wrist betrayed him as another patient, another life waiting with all the rest on this unit to be snuffed out. He'd only gone in for the pain in his shoulder and he was going to walk out with a death certificate. Cancer of the bone, eating away at him for almost a year.

All he wanted to do was enter a strip club. Now he was close to getting into handcuffs-by someone who wasn't even a real police officer! {NSFW}

Yuzu was at her limit. All week it seemed like Mei was out to get her. Her weapon of choice to drive Yuzu mad? Fleeting touches.

Rei laced their fingers together firmly. The taller boy's hands were so much bigger than his. The warm lotion between their hands felt mildly gross at first, but once Rei began to roll his fingers and palms against his, the feeling changed completely.

Every family has their own way of getting along. The Kiryuuins just happen to do things a little more... physically. Spoilers.

They won't talk about what happened, because talking about it means thinking about it, and thinking about it means acknowledging it. Instead, awkward silences are only filled when they bicker. They argue, circling each other endlessly because neither will pause to explain. A misunderstood one-night stand at a New Year's party is all it takes.

"I've been wondering for a while," the taller boy said, his hand resting on the side of Nagisa's neck warmly, "but why are you always giggling when we kiss?" Nagisa tilted his and raised his eyebrows. He hummed as he thought about his answer. "I'unno. I guess it's because I'm so happy when I'm with Rei-chan?" he grinned.

Nagisa looked proudly over to Rei and lifted his head to let the scarf fall away from his nose and mouth. The grin he had on his face lasted for a second before he turned his head toward the sky and took in a deep breath. A particularly nippy breeze bypassed them. Nagisa drew his shoulders in again and shivered. Rei thought he looked like a penguin hunching over for warmth.

Despite the weight of recent revelations settling on her shoulders, Ryuko can say this is the happiest she's been in a long time. (or otherwise known as that fic where Ryuko doesn't know what mistletoe is) [ryumako]
