Passing by the wreck a mysterious crew saves him and John meets the eccentric Captain Sherlock Holmes who takes him on board as the ship's doctor. Slow-build story. Johnlock. K for now. You didn't book Sherlock Holmes; he booked you. You didn't arrange meetings with Sherlock Holmes, he texted you an address and you had better be there on time. Everyone in the fashion world knew how this went. So when John got a text from an unknown number, that said 221B Baker Street, come at once if convenient. –SH, he knew better than to ignore it.

John removed his hand from the grave stone and opened his eyes, barely glancing over the letters that read 'Sherlock Holmes'. "I don't know how to live without you." He shrugged with a half smile on his face, sad and lonely. "I don't think I want to."
