Hi!!!

I'm Live to Daydream, and I live to daydream. And write and draw and read. I have been writing fanfiction for a long time before even getting an FF.net account, but here I am now with a severe lack of stories I am actually willing to publish.

I'm a big fan of anime and manga, though I don't actually watch much of it. I prefer the art to the shows/plots. I also love music, so I guess it's unsurprising that I write a lot of Vocaloid fanfiction.

My other major interest at the moment is Doctor Who, but you probably won't see me write much, if any, fanfiction for it. I feel a bit inexperienced in writing to go and try to write a 900 some year old genius Time Lord from Gallifrey and have him act at all in character, not to mention some of the other characters. I haven't had any amazing ideas for Doctor Who stories yet, and the last thing I want to do is write bad fluff for an amazing tv show. Not that I have any objection to fluff, as I'm sure you'll see from my stories :)

I don't have a problem with any kind of pairing, by which I mean I refuse to take a side on the great yaoi-yuri-het debate, or whatever you want to call it. I have shipped all sorts of pairings and I will continue to do so. I choose pairings based on how the characters behave around each other and their personalities, not based on how attractive I find them, and thus I don't really care about their genders. (I know a lot of girls like yaoi because it's "hot" and vice versa, but I don't like the common yaoi art style, not to mention I don't think that's why you should ship a pairing). If they're cute together then they're cute together. I try (though I often fail) not to overthink it. So that's what I'll read.

For Vocaloid, you can expect to see (WARNING: I'm really stupid and lazy sometimes, and I get so confused about how to write pairings. I use x and / interchangeably, and I know you're supposed to write one person first, depending on...I don't even know. Either way, when I write two people's names with an x or a / in between it means I think they're in love. That's that. I refuse to change Miku/Luka to Luka/Miku because I think Miku/Luka sounds better XD) Miku/Luka, Rin/Len, Len/Gumi, and Meiko/Kaito. I kind of like Gakupo/Kaito, but since I don't really like either of them as characters that much I'm not likely to write it as a main pairing, but you can expect hints about it I suppose. I'd have to say my favorite of the guys and maybe my favorite altogether is Len. :)

In Doctor Who I ship ROSE AND THE DOCTOR all the way. Although I'm known to break into hysterical fangirlish giggles at the prospect of Jack flirting with either of them. Heh... My favorite Doctor is the tenth, and I only just recently caught up with the series. I believe the last episode with Amy and Rory airs tonight... :(

I've also started watching Torchwood, which I absolutly love. Jack was one of my favorite characters in DW, so of course I would have to like it... I started watching it a couple months ago, and finished Children of Earth already. :'( IANTO... He and Jack are possibly my current favorite pairing. I don't know If I'm going to watch Miracle Day. I heard it was bad.

I like Sherlock as well, and am about to watch the last episode of season 2, which just came onto netflix :D

My favorite band is Chameleon Circuit. The music I like is mainly comprised of that, Katy Perry's first album, and Vocaloid. I will also love a song if I'm listening to it and a line or the whole song suddenly reminds me of a book or tv show or other fandom that I like.

Stories:

1. The Music Project. In progress, working on my writer's block, still editing and uploading pre-written chapters. Miku x Luka with a bit of fluff thrown in, but still very focused on the plot instead of the romance. I hope.

2. Somewhere Far Away. In progress, a bit of writer's block that isn't even that bad. I'm sorry, it's a lame excuse. Working on it...

3. World's End Dancehall. Complete, oneshot...a romantic interpretation of the song. I wrote it a while ago and then found it again recently. I edited it and posted it!

4. The Daughter of Green. A kind of random Story of Evil oneshot I thought of one day. It's sad.

I've been doing some stuff to improve my writing and widen the standards of stuff I will write. I need to stop being afraid of writing for the majority of my fndoms. My goal is to have a Doctor Who oneshot that I'm happy with enough to bost within a couple weeks. My other projects aren't going so great. I need some sort of inspiration.
