Diverges from the end of the manga and goes from there. Death City is still recuperating from the battle with madness when Soul and Maka discover what appears to be another of Eibon's artifacts - something that must be carefully kept under control, especially now that that the political games include the Witch Council - and go in search of it before it falls in the wrong hands.

Her father always used to tell her that her hair was the color of the sand, and her eyes the shade of the glass on the shore. She was as much a part of her small town as the sea, until the boy with the shark teeth appeared and shattered the place where she stood frozen in time. Soul/Maka. Beach-town AU. Resbang 2014 entry.

Soul might have thought not going to jail was the easy part, but between perpetual unemployment, an overachieving superhero girlfriend, and the looming threat of Arachnophobia, life as an ex-villain is a lot harder than it's cracked up to be. SoMa Superhero AU written for Resbang 2014.

It was expected that the graduation of Spartoi was going to be an upheaval for Shibusen; what wasn't anticipated was the abrupt dissolution of Soul and Maka's partnership. With Maka residing at the Gallows and Soul refusing to talk about what happened, it seems nothing short of divine intervention will be able to forge a reconciliation.

The circus is in town and strange things are afoot, not the least of which is the sudden disappearance of Maka's father and horse. When she finds her stolen horse at the circus, her attempt to steal him back goes wrong and a strange red-eyed pianist catches her in the act. Something's very wrong, her father is still missing, and now she's trapped in a terrifying new world.

Soma drabble from the prompt, "Write something where Soul is envious of Black*Star and/or Tsubaki for having the nerve to take their partnership to the next level." Short & sweet and hideously out of season.

Soul is a dirtbag burnout and no one is surprised, but they don't know why the nerd-girl valedictorian hangs around him. Regular high school AU. SoMa friendship and... things. They vary and are a bit random, so if you read something that hasn't happened (i.e. Maka's got a memory) take it with a grain of salt, as far as chronological setting.

Also a story about fruit, peeping toms, immortox injections, and missing underwear. Rated for mature content and bad Greek myth puns. AU Soul/Maka, implied Zeus/everybody.

Lily Evans has spent years despising James Potter. He has spent just as long worshiping her. When seventh year pairs them Head Boy and Girl, each comes to realize that their judgment isn't quite what they thought it was. This is the same story that was over on Checkmated, but I completed it here. Prequel to Heroes for Ghosts. Warning: this story is a strong M rating.

When Maka and Soul infiltrate a suspicious gathering posing as wealthy and engaged aristocrats, they uncover a human organisation obsessed with the theory that Shibusen's alliance with the witches is being used to create a race of super-human warriors which will take over the world. This triggers a battle to retain the peace - but only one side can end up the apex predator. SoMa.

Tension's been rising in the Albarn-Eater household and that tension's gotta be let out somehow. Rated M for a reason, basically PWP.

In which Soul and Maka are lawyers on opposite sides of a divorce case, and a friendly wager is made.

Ties now severed from the Navy, former Naval Captain Maka Albarn is separated from the Pirates she inadvertently befriended during her adventures of the past year. 7 months after her resignation, she receives a letter from one of her now scattered friends. Now she must embark on a new journey alone, into the Farlands. In search of what she lost as a child. AU! MXS. Sequel to HSGS.

Soul Eater Evans is a car but then he's not. Maka Albarn is a hunter with a big brain and an even bigger attitude. She hates his guts, but he's just trying to figure out what the hell is going on. But while she may hate his guts, she really kind of likes the way he looks without a shirt on. Set in the Supernatural canonverse. Written for Resonance Bang 2013. R&R

When college student and campus security cop Maka Albarn's residence hall is terrorised by an amateur pornographer filming girls in the showers and posting the videos online she and her college drop out campus security partner Soul Evans must work together to catch the creep before the videos can go viral. It's the night before Maka's eighteenth birthday, and both Soul and Maka have secrets they plan on telling each other at her party. But Soul abruptly falls unconscious hours after they return from what they thought was a routine mission, and when he wakes up, he's no longer himself. In the ensuing battle for truth and Soul's very life, those secrets just might leak out...

Death the Kid must battle his own friends, and his own impulses, if he is ever to knock down his ten opponents with the aid of only an incredible orb of significant power. In other words, the Soul Eater gang go bowling. Inspired by an anonymous question submitted at my Tumblr page; likely takes place after the manga's conclusion. Rated T for Patty Thompson's F-bombs.

AU. It didn't take much to trick him into coming. Soul would do anything to patch up his unstable relationship with Maka. But going to an anime convention? That didn't make any sense. /Late bday gift fic for Redemption13. Lemon and Crack warning./

Maka has to go on a mission without Soul, who is sick with the stomach flu. Needless to say, Soul is NOT happy.

"Why are we here, Kid?" Maka groaned. "And why do we have to watch the matches? I don't think I can stand to see another one. Not the way the last one ended..."

Laser tag is a fun diversion, but there are other things to do in the maze, too. This is an upload of a fic I wrote a long time ago.

Soul is fed up with Maka's poor music taste and decides to teach her about some real tunes. Oneshot.

Epilogue to Slide. Soul gets an important phone call when he least expects it.

"That's all you want, isn't it? You want somebody to love you because it's killing you to be alone." Whilst on a mission, Soul is trapped and forced to fight a witch before she kills his meister.

Soul x Maka (pure cute fluffy with a little bit of lime at the end. ish.) Soul and Maka liked to touch.

"Oh the shark has pretty teeth, dear, and he shows 'em, pearly white. Just a jackknife has Mackheath, dear, and he keeps it outta sight." Cleaning up an old mess of Shibusen's would be a lot easier on Soul and Maka if they weren't trying to figure out their relationship in the process. In hindsight, Soul should have realized that trying to tickle a warrior skilled in hand-to-hand combat wasn't going to end well.

Soul decides to explore the side of Japanese culture that's always intrigued him. Tsubaki helps.

His insides churned at the thought of it. Stay red, he thought to himself. Just stay red, please, for a little while longer.

Wherein Soul is doing laundry and is distracted by the fact that just as much as he is a growing boy, his partner is a growing girl. T for themes and language.

Maka and Soul get separated in a fight against two kishin eggs, and Maka discovers something about herself that she never knew. Written for days one through three of SoMa Week.

" A voice seemed to echo through the room, but no one else reacted to it. Maka looked back over at little Soul, and froze. Sitting next to him, was what looked like an even older version of the Soul she knew. His subconscious bristled at that, and Maka tried to be apologetic, but she couldn't help it. "Maka's face had gone nearly the same color as his eyes, and for a second, he was worried he might have broken her"
