Reading fanfics is a new hobby I've picked up - a rather enjoyable one too.

Being a native of Nopeville of the Nopeland shores, I am naturally a very picky reader.

Sometimes I laugh at written works that I'm not supposed to laugh at. I'd alternate between laugh, scoff, cringe, or plain NOPE while immediately finding the x button on the top corner. I am a terrible human being and I'm OK with that.

Sometimes I'd drop comments too - which is a rare practice, but done out of necessity as one has to make her voice heard (in typed letters).

Nevertheless, despite the high level of mediocrity plastered all over the site, I can't help but appreciate the effort and bravery of those who submitted their works for others to read/laugh at/ignore. I'm still a terrible human being and I'm aware. Brutal honesty aside, I find the attempt quite admirable.

On the flipside of things, sometimes (albeit rarely) I would find fics that I can't help myself but to read and re-read because of the emotional thrill they'd give me. Nothing provides me with greater source of inspiration to pick up my own pen other than those.

Unfortunately (but fortunately for you all) I'm much better off using the said pen to draw thumbnails than to write. So much artsiness oozing out and I'd forgotten how to write.
