Author has written 1 story for Elder Scroll series. I write Fanfiction for fun, everything you need to know about what kind of fanfics I write is in my name. I don't have a fixed update schedule but I will typically post one-shots and if they gain popularity I will try to turn them into a full works and update them on a semi-regular basis. I expect to have a very niche audience, I would be honestly amazed if people were actually interested in the crazy crackish stories my mind cooks up. That being said I like crossovers, I find very few pieces of media that have both an interesting world and the engaging characters required to exist self contained, that is why I think fanfics are a necessity, they are a fun and engaging way to take a second look at something you thought could have been better. Whether it be simple wish fulfillment or the desire to see your favorite characters interact with each other in new and exciting ways, the potential this type of media possesses is astonishing. While this is the first profile I've made I've been around since this website was founded. If you have any questions about the kind of crossovers I'll be posting just shoot me a PM and I'll get back to you when I have the time. If for some reason you're interested here are a few examples of works that I think can exist self-contained to their own worlds and characters: -RWBY -The Elder Scrolls Series -Fire Emblem -Monster Musume -Pokemon For those of you still interested here a few examples of works that make excellent crossover material: -Familiar of Zero -Dark Souls -Fate/Stay Night -Worm -Anything that plays with the concept of becoming a monster, be it literally or metaphorically. In the end the measure of a successful crossover is how well it is able to explain in universe how such a meeting could occur, the concept of summoning is one of the stronger plot devices even if some consider it a cop out, another way is starting with a world in which both universes could exist simultaneously, (for example Worm is a realistic take on what would happen if people suddenly started to get super powers creating an alternate history that split from our history not too long ago, this creates a world very similar to our world to work with but lays the foundation for more scientifically inclined crossover like say Bioshock. The latest point in Bioshock's timeline so far has been the early 1970's which coincides Worm's split history timeline which starts in the early 1970's creating a seamless flow from one story to another with no reason for one universe not being able to fit within the other. At this point I feel like i'm preaching to the choir so I'll stop my rambling but the point I was trying to make was that good crossovers have a reason for existing, you can't just slap some character into a new setting and expect it to work, so any crossovers I do will work within the confines of the component story's universes to create a scenario that could possibly happen. |
