Hair: She has short, curly, red hair, sometimes with white tips. She often has a red butterfly in her hair as a barrett. It's rarely straightened because her hair's so stubborn.

Past: She was born on on the planet Mercury, where she was the twin of Princess Mercury. She was destoyed at the same time of her sister because they share a bond. When they were reborn, Princess Amphitrite became Ai Nakano, a friend of Usagi Tsukino. When Ami Mizuno, the descendent of Princess Mercury, finally found her twin, it was too late. Ami, as Sailor Mercury, died on the way to Queen Beryl. Vowing for revenge, Ai became Sailor Amphitrite, the soldier of telepathy and revenge. She sometimes worked with Sailor Neptune and Uranus, finding the tailsmans. Then, Rei discovers Ai's secret identity. When Sailor Amphitrite finds out that Rei saw her, she went for revenge again until Usagi, as Sailor Moon, calms her down. Then, Hotaru comes along and the two became friends. Then, Setsuna discovered that there was a fourth tailsman and Ai had it: The Dark Sniper. She also has the Heart of Mercury, the precious jewel of Mercury that keeps water coming and the planet alive.
