President Grant found out about Defiance just before an international crisis begins and it's left his relationship with Olivia Pope in ruins . Since going their separate ways, Olivia has thrown herself back into her work. Though pride and pain are ruling them both and trust is shattered between them, can they truly forget what they once had and go on with their lives apart?

This is a continuation of the S3 Scandal Finale. This story is an attempt to try and capture the true love between Olivia and Fitz and my hopes of them each working through their own demons. It also represents them finding their way back into the light. I hope you enjoy:)

I was absolutely floored by the events depicted in Scandal 5x09 "Baby, It's Cold Outside". I needed to find a way to cope, and in my tradition, writing usually is the mechanism I employ. Here is my version of events.

Set in Season Four, Fitz is mourning the end of his relationship with Olivia, divorcing Mellie, and trying to start fresh. He doesn't give her much choice in the matter, but will Olivia accept it?

Fitz and Olivia are married. Have been for close to 3 years. There's been some neglectfulness on both parts. The fire that once resided in their relationship is slowly burning out. Can their love be rekindled or will someone have to fulfill their desires elsewhere... maybe a story; depending on if you like it.
