I was born in the 80's and study English Translation as a major and Japanese as a minor in the University. I like reading, writing, music, movies, eating and sleeping. Not necessarily in that order.

I read from any fandom of any anime/manga/book/movie I've recently seen and liked and revisit old fandoms when the urge strikes.

I mostly read BL and I'm really picky about my het. I dislike the way many writers emasculate the strong male characters and make them into whimpering, blushing bottoms. I think that equal relationships and strong, confident males are sexy and that whimpering, innocent ukes are just boring. (Kink!fics are a different matter altogether.) This is only my personal preference though.

I also love good plot, characters, grammar and punctuation. I'm far from perfect, but some things are just basics, when it comes to writing.

The reason I don't upload stories is usually because there is a high chance I won't finish what I start.

And finally:

Aloud: To say something out loud.

Allowed: Someone may or is granted the permission to do something.

There: Answers the question where. It is over there.

Their: Is a possessive pronoun. I think it's their book.

They're: Comes from the words they and are. They're going swimming.

The words might sound similar when you say them aloud, but they are not interchangeable. I know there is a huge amount of homophones in the English language, which messes up many writers who might be completely fluent otherwise. I also know that nobody is perfect: even the best writers make mistakes, be it grammar or factual, so an extra eye can make up for a lot. Usually getting a beta-reader is not a bad idea.
