Well, I was looking at someone's profile and thought, "Wow, that looks really. . bare."

And -then- I realized I was looking at mine. How embarrassing. -_-;;

My Boring Life

Well, there's not much to say really. I'm twenty-something, live in Michigan with my Amazing Boyfriend, and read fanfics like they're going out of style.

I never really got the desire to write one until about 5 minutes after reading my first. It was "To Wash It All Away" and I am reverently awaiting another update. Then I read "The Broken Miko" and "Tales From the House of the Moon" and I was officially hooked.

Interesting how I started out a total Inu/Kag fanatic, after watching episodes religiously, and then, after I read those three fics, I can't deny that Sess/Kag also floats my boat. It takes a level if skill in writing to pair Sesshoumaru up with anyone and have it come out fascinating, let alone believable. Especially when the heroine happens to be the most loud-mouthed, annoying, obstinate, feminist there is in the whole series. Amazing how she is all that and still manages to be whiny and. . dare I say. . dense at times? Don't get me wrong, I love Kagome, I just don't like how her character is portrayed at times. Even in the original manga.

So yeah, though I've been sorely tempted to, and have even started to write, a Sess/Kag fic, my first attempt just turned out to be an Inu/Kag. Of course, all the hard work is done, since they're already married by the time the story comes into play. But that's ok, since the story really isn't a romance. It's an action adventure, I just haven't gotten to the action adventure part yet. Gomen. -_-;;

There's alot of plot setup though, due to the fact that there's alot of plot to the story. It's not just "-squeal- Inu and Kagome get into a fight and make up and then they eat ramen (mmmm ramen) and go after some jewel shards then one of them gets hurt and they say I love you to each other and kiss (aww kawaii) and live happily ever after then they defeat Naraku but he comes back somehow and when Kagome makes a wish on the jewel somehow she becomes a demon and lives forever and has all these powers". . . . . No siree. I have nightmares about fics like those. -shudder-

If I ever write anything like that, you have my complete permission to include death threats in the unavoidable flames.

Oh, and read Child's Play and -please- reveiw. . I need the criticism. I love criticism. -coughcough-

I love one-shots too , I've only written two but I'm hashing out another as we speak. I lack the creativity and time necessary to add more to Child's Play. I fully intend for it to be a very very long story and don't want to screw it up by posting half-effort chapters.
