Author has written 2 stories for Star Wars. ABOUT MYSELF Not a whole lot to say about myself personally. Just another college kid trying to hold off moving into the 'real world'. I hail from the great state of Texas, but I go to school a bit further north in Oklahoma. Sounds weird, don't it? Well, it's a helluva lot cheaper. I'm pretty much just your average red dirt kinda guy. Yes, I do have boots and two cowboy hats. Yes I drive a pickup truck. No, I don't live on a farm, nor do I ride bulls. I've grown up in the oil field my whole life, and I'm using this 'vacation' at school to try and pursue a Masters in History, specifically American and Trans-Mississippi/Western U.S. History. INTERESTS As you can probably imagine, I'm a big country music fan. Not so much the mainstream stuff, but more along the lines of "Red Dirt" music, stuff you might hear coming from bands out of Austin, Ft. Worth, Amarillo, and Stillwater, Oklahoma. Love the old stuff as well... can't go wrong with Willie and Waylon. I also like some of the good rock... Steve Miller Band, Bob Seger, CCR, AC/DC, Skynyrd, Allman Bros, etc. John Wayne is and always will be my hero. I can't get enough of his movies.I'm abig fan of Star Wars as well, though I enjoy the storylines of KOTOR and KOTOR II a bit more than the original trilogy. Not a huge fan of the prequels. As you can imagine, Ienjoy westerns. But, I also enjoy quite a bit of science fiction as well. Strange combination, I know. FAVORITE READS "Texas" by James Michener and "Lonesome Dove" by Larry McMurtry. Unbelievable reads. There are a number of others, far too many to list off. Anything involving mystery, especially with historic backdrops (i.e. Da Vinci Code and Templar Revelation) I tend to enjoy. And also anything that pertains to World War II. Don't ask me why. Just a fascination of mine. Well, thanks for stopping by. I'm fairly new at this, so some of my work may not knock your socks off, but I'm working at it. Feel free to review at your own discretion. I'm a big boy, and harsh words aren't going to hurt my feelings. But constructive criticism is preferred. It helps out, no matter the endeavour. |
