![]() Author has written 11 stories for Stargate: SG-1. Growing up as one of three children who had to agree on what to watch on TV, I didn't get to watch nearly as much Star Trek as I would have liked. No one else was interested in sci fi of any kind. They still aren't. I still am. But now I have my own TV, and Star Trek, TNG, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Firefly and Babylon 5 on DVD. Luckily a well stocked library nearby even delivers, for those days when I need Farscape or something else I don't have. You learn a few things as you go through life. One thing I've learned is sci fi is not about warp drive or transporters or wormholes or food replicators (although if I had one of those, I wouldn't have to take time from writing to fix dinner!) Sci fi is about possibilities. If you believe, you can do anything. If you can imagine it, it can happen. Take that faith, that hope and work hard enough and it will happen. Now to go invent a food replicator... |
