As much as a personal space that a profile can be, an author can very much develop a character reflecting himself as that author writes on- in this case in particular, a character that prefers to speak for himself.

I am Pieter-Pauwel van der Berg, a storyteller of the Low Countries. I, a Hollander, have a penchant for writing stories- built on stories that were, and continuing them.

Do not expect that my stories will be bawdy and meaningless in the general- I harbour strong philosophical, religious, moral, intellectual, or otherwise sentient themes to a general population of my work. My stories; I would never convince myself to call it "fan fiction" as much as a derivative work- for my stories do not glorify characters in their own present form, but will give them new forms that will fit them to the stories that I give.

Should you see any potential improving spots in my writing that you think are great, please tell them so I may heed it, and hopefully one day influence at least a few that "fan fiction" is not always a mereity and a nexus for perversion and vanity.
