Originally this was supposed to be about the gang, but it actually is more Swarkles than anything, not going to lie. Various Swarkles escapades, all in one-shot form. Some fluff, baby fic, etc. Basically it's just a grab bag of different Barney and Robin minifics. Rated T just to be safe.

We as a group have decided that, as fans and writers, we are not completely satisfied with the final 2 seasons of How I Met Your Mother. Out of love and bitterness, we have decided to rewrite the final seasons. Some plot lines with remain, others will change completely. We hope everyone will enjoy what we have in store. :)

The HIMYM finale left me scarred like everyone else. I am a huge Swarkles fan and the way their marriage went in the finale was an insult. This is a story about problems I believe to be more plausible in Barney and Robin's marriage.

He let her go because he loves her. She won't let him back in because she loves she child he abandoned. Threats from Barney's work meant that there was only one way to protect his pregnant wife five years ago. Thing was, he didn't expect to be coming back.

To Barney, traveling around the world with his hot wife sounds legen—wait for it—dary. Robin agrees.

A view of the finale that Ted Mosby didn't see and couldn't see, no matter how much the writing was on the wall. Spanning decades and continents, their story was never perfect and they were never perfect, but they were always right.

Robin tells Barney about her weird dream where they divorce, he has a baby and she ends up with Ted. He tells her not to be so silly.
