I love to read and write and you can normally find my face buried in a book or behind my laptop writing. Though I also love the beauty of life around us. Sometimes you have to take the time to just sit back and watch the day turn to night as the beautiful colors fill the sky with a sun kissed light dimming as the night time sky takes over with its millions of little lights gleaming so beautifully.

I am not prejudice except against prejudice people XD I honesty Hate it when people automatically have a dislike for someone due to a superficial label. (race, sexual orientation, religion, etc.) So do not make prejudice comments or send me ignorant messages.

I love feedback especially constructive criticism I mean I do love "OMG your story is is great" kinda stuff but it doesn't help me make it better. and saying things like "You suck" are just rude and wont change anything.

I am learning ASL. I plan on getting my 4 year teaching degree i'm in my first semester now and then i plan on going to interpreter school for American Sign Language.

truths about ASL-

Is ASL a universal language? NO. Just as any spoken language each country has it's own. for the most part some signs might be similar but i mean most language now a days was derived from latin at some point. But no it is not universal.

Do all deaf people know each other? No. though Deaf people have a greater sense of community with each other not all deaf people know each other.

Is deafness a handicap? NO. Not in any way. the only time being deaf limits someone is if the people they are around are completely ignorant.

Can all deaf people read lips? No they can not. some can but even so it is impossible to catch every word and they still cannot speak back to you for they don't have spoken language(unless they were hearing then something caused deafness then they could have spoken language)

If you yell can they hear you? No. Hard of hearing can hear you if you speak louder but deaf means no hearing no matter how loud you are.

Can deaf people listen to music? Yes, but not exactly how hearing people do. It's not so much the sound they hear it's the vibrations they feel when the bass and music is up loud enough.
