When Winona Kirk interrupts a breakin in her home office, her subsequent head injury, and the theft of her SF issued computer, lead Jim, Gavin, Leonard and Spock down a dark rabbit hole of intrigue and danger.

The Enterprise intercepts the molten husk of a prototype warp ship, with one surviving crew member. Bones finds his arms full, while Jim and Spock work to find out where the ship came from.
