Update 12/5/07 (Only because people keep reviewing and PMing me):

In my last update (almost a year ago now) I said maybe I'll come back to fanfiction. Truth is, though, I won't. I don't want to. I'm sorry if you're still waiting, but I hope I at least put you out of your misery now. I won't be coming back. I won't be writing this stuff anymore. To quote Meredith Grey: "It's over. You can all go home. It's over... so over."

Sorry.

Update 1/14/07: Okay, so as most of you have undoubtedly realized, I haven't updated my most recently updated stories in like... a year. I know, that's bad. And I'm sorry, truly I am. There is no excuse other than that I got caught up in life, and fanfiction interest became minimal. If you hate me for it, I can hardly blame you, and I kept entertaining notions that "eventually I will get around to it," but here is the unbridled truth.

Try not to send me hate mail.

The chances of my updating any of my stories, are, well... slim, to be honest. I don't have the drive or the interest to do it anymore, and I have no idea where to go with my stories. I wish I could end them, but there are so many things left unfinished, ties left hanging, and to close the stories leaving those ties untied is unacceptable to me. At some point, I hope I'll come back to this. I learned so much from writing here, and I feel like I've improved in leaps and bounds, but at some point you have to break free of the constraints of other people's settings and characters. Yes, you understood that right. I have broken into the world of original fiction, and I will not lie: I love it, more than I ever have loved fanfiction.

I'm sorry.

Should you feel the need to pursue my writing (and I hope you will, because I think it's halfway decent), feel free to go over to fictionpress.com and look up the writer Antiquary... that's me. I only have the first chapter of my first story up as of now, but I have tons of other things in mind, including an epic fantasy story that I hope to post someday. Please read, if you feel up to it. I'm less likely to abandon that than I was for fanfiction.

Again, I'm sorry. I have a couple of half-written chapters left for Time of Our Lives, and that's about it. I'm thinking of at least revising those and posting them for you guys to read... at this point, it's the best I can do. Maybe someday I will actually finish these, but I make no promises, leave no guarantees.

I guess there's really nothing else to say. I'm sorry to all those who are still, a year later, waiting faithfully for me to update; I know how frustrating it is to wait so long and get virtually nothing. Please try to forgive me, because I never meant to do it. But it's too hard to keep writing this stuff when my heart is no longer in it. And even though I said the chances are slim, they are still there, at least for Time of Our Lives, if not for Shades of Grey or What It Takes. I'll do what I can.

Thank you to everyone who ever read my stories and/or reviewed them... I appreciate it more than you know. It's you guys who helped me grow as a writer, and looking back on those first awful chapters, it astonishes me how far I have come. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
