Author has written 2 stories for Star Wars. Hello, world! I'm RiaTalla13 (only true Star Wars fans know the meaning of my name) and I am completely OBSESSED with Star Wars! Feel free to comment, critic, like, favorite, et cetera my FanFics! I'm pretty much only going to do Star Wars FanFics. Never be afraid to PM me, as I will most likely respond in the next week or so, depending on my homework load. If you like to write, copy and paste this into your profile. List your top 12 favorite Star War characters in a RANDOM order. 1. Jyn Erso 2. Anakin Skywalker 3. CAPTAIN REX!!! 4. Princess Leia 5. Fives (Eh? Eh?) 6. OBI WAN!!! 7. Kanan Jarrus/Caleb Dume 8. AHSOKA!!! SNIPS!!! 9. Hera Syndulla 10. Duchess Satine Kryze 11. REY!!! 12. SABINE WREN!!! Keep in mind this is a RANDOM list. Sabine is actually my favorite character (hence the name). How would you feel if (7)/(8) was canon? I don't know . . . I kinda ship Kanana and Hera, but as long as they're happy . . . Does anyone in your friend group write or draw (11)? MEEEE. I write about Rey WAAAAYYY too much. What would you think if you found (5) was a really good friend of a sibling or a relative of yours? OMG, YES!!! I would be so happy!!! FIVES!!!! How would you react if you saw (8) and (11) in a closet together with a rubber ducky? I'd open the door, see them in there, close the door, and pretend it never happened. How would you feel if (2) dissed you in the worst possible way? I'd just be like "Yes, Lord Vader." Mike drop. Walk away. If you saw (9) and (3) in bed together, what would you do? I'd say "Did you use protection?" And then I'd go tell Ahsoka and Kanan, who are now, apparently, a thing. And then my entire OTP universe would fall apart. You just came home from school and all of your friends hate you, your teacher just gave you an F on the most important project of the year (just imagine it for all you smart alecks out there), and your parents have grounded you as your teacher had already called them and told the, of you grade. You open the door and find (12) rummaging through your stuff. What do you do? WHY SABINE, WHY?!!! I'd probably curl up in a little ball and cry because my world has ended. What would you think if (1) was emo and had tried to slit his/her wrists? If (1) is already emo/slit his/her wrists, what would you think if (1) became the most optimistic person in the world? Jyn's kinda both and neither . . . so I wouldn't think much of it. What would you do if (4) just gave you a daisy right now? Um, Leia? You trying to tell me something? (Side note: wouldn't it have been awesome if this had been Rey? DAISY RIDLEY!) (6) has just stolen your hairbrush. What is the first thing you would say? I'd say "Benny, dear, I think I need that more than you do." No, I'd probably just steal it back. To whom it may concern: Listen, I don't mean to offend anyone. Really, I don't. But guys out there? Women and girls are not objects to be attained and admired. We are not "yours". We are sentient people with our own lives, with the exact same rights as you. Girls who are boy-crazy? That's not all there is to them. If a girl likes Star Wars, don't tease her, torment her, make her life miserable. (This goes to girls, too.) We all have things we love. Star Wars (and Percy Jackson, and Harry Potter, and Star Trek, and anime, and Minecraft, and other fandoms) fangirls are the same as fanboys. We love what we love. Men out there who think that Star Wars is "just for girls now": Seriously? Let's look at Rey from Star Wars VII. She is the lead character, with a supporting cast that is almost entirely male. Why the hell are you complaining? And Jyn Erso? She's a girl leading an entire crew of male characters. Literally. The ratio of males to females in the crew is like 20:1. You're simply anti-feminist, sexist, idiots who can't see in front of their noses because they think that the 50% of Star Wars fans who are female don't exist. Now, to girls out there who may be reading this (all though I doubt my intended audience is): Stop acting like dehumanized toys for boys to win, like trophies. You are the reason why the rest of us have to work so hard to earn respect in male-dominated areas. You may not be feminists. You may just want to become a housewife, raise eleven children, and not get a college education, like women were forced to 150 years ago. But don't let that be detrimental to the rest of us who want to become successful, happy, non-sexualized role models for future generations. For those of us who want to make a positive change in the world. I am most certainly not assuming that everyone who is reading this are the people who I am addressing. I am simply trying to put my views out there. Thank you for your time. |
