Here we go. I'm female, 41, living in the UK. I've written fan fiction (f/f) on and off for over 16 years, starting out with Xena:WP and a terrible writing style sometime in the late 1990's to early 2000s. I wrote an article for Whoosh on the use of cliche in slash fan fiction (whilst being totally guilty of doing it myself!). I dabbled with Bad Girls, got a group of people together who adored Sarah Water's Fingersmith and the BBC production with Sally Hawkins. I ran a fanfic page for that for a while with a few people writing for it, then I hung up my FF pen.

You can probably find my most cringe worthy material online somewhere on some ancient web sites if they are still up and running (I daren't look!). Hopefully I have improved over the years. I didn't intend to pick up the pen again as FF is a completely different style of writing to the original fiction I am working on now. However, there was just something about the characters in Wynonna Earp that spoke to me. They started whispering in my head and simply would not shut up until I put finger to keyboard. So let's have some fun while they keep talking.
