Hello, I am Rose. In the language of flowers, my pen name is used to signify the transient beauty of the world. I digress, it's been a very, very long time since I've updated this profile and I thought it high time to get around to it. I am a college student (so please please please forgive my sporadic updates) with a very flighty muse. I am not very good at writing longer stories as I tend to get distracted by new ideas halfway through. I am very willing to listen to suggestions (feel free to drop off plot bunnies with me) and I love to hear from others on both my writing and ideas. That said, please be kind, I am human and I have my own ideas and will very readily admit to making rather horrible grammar mistakes. I understand I may not be your favorite, but I try to be courteous so if you could please extend that same courtesy I would very much appreciate it. I do not own any of the major material for my stories. Recognize anything? It's not mine.

I am rather drawn to the darker side of the psyche, so many of my stories will be based on not so nice things and my style tends to be rather introverted, with much of the story being told through thought and action rather than verbal expression. If you don't like these thematic and stylistic elements I apologize but that just happens to be how I write. I have been writing on this site since I was rather young and my style has changed greatly over time, and as such many of my stories are paused, waiting for the time when I have the muse and time to rewrite them to my satisfaction.

P.S. The name change (from Shadow- The Black Queen) was to mirror the change in writing style that my work has gone through these last few years, becoming a bit more subtle. The things I have written as Shadow (the older things that have yet to be brought up to date) will be tagged as such.
