![]() Author has written 9 stories for Dragon Ball Z, Digimon, Grand Theft Auto, and Fallout. Introduction: Hello, KRicci93 here, and this my updated profile. I look at this site, , and for me it's a perfect platform to express my creativity with things I like. I look at the term "FanFiction", and I take that to heart. I add concepts from other forms of media and see if it flows. I try to make things more mature, or more goofy depending on the plot and story I'm working on. I am also a stickler for keeping things as lore friendly as possible. My earlier works suffer from a lack of education and understanding, while my most recent works, while written better, suffer from me being a responsible adult and not being able to continuously update. I'll be honest, my work isn't for everyone. My earlier stuff really isn't for me anymore either, there's just a lot I don't like. But, you enjoy what you enjoy, and if you like and can identify with my work, welcome. Interests: My interests mostly comprise of anime, video games, YouTube videos and music. I've never been a huge TV viewer, I don't have cable by choice. I don't watch a lot of films, however some do entertain me if it ticks all my boxes. Adult entertainment, well that's just a thing that a lot of people enjoy but won't talk about openly, I don't care though. Anime has become a love of mine even though I rarely ever sit down and watch it. Video games and music are my BIG passions though. As casual a gamer I am, I prefer to interact with my media than simply watch it. Same goes for music, I'm a guitarist and I'll generally play along with the music I'm listening to if I have the choice. Below is a few list of my specific choices of media and entertainment. Anime: Dragon Ball Franchise: Ever since I was a kid, I've absolutely LOVED Dragon Ball. My first exposure was Dragon Ball Z, as it was for most people outside Japan. I've watched Dragon Ball/Z/GT and Super in full, and it's very easy for me to just write a fanfic about it. Now I admit, as far as DB/Z/GT, I've only seen the original English dub. And I'm very aware of how bad and corny that dub was. My earlier DBZ fics suffer from that, and a lack of understanding, but I'll get into that later. When it comes to Dragon Ball Super, I watched it subtitled and am rewatching it dubbed, and considering dubs are much better these days, I'm much more satisfied with it over the Z Dub. I haven't seen Dragon Ball Kai yet, mainly due to my most recent rewatch of Dragon Ball-GT wasn't that long ago, it's a lot to digest. However, while writing fics now, I generally reference the Dragon Ball Manga so I'm honoring the original lore as much as possible. Digimon: Digimon is another one of those childhood animes that I have a real attachment to. And again, I've only seen the dubbed version. Furthermore, I've only seen the two Adventure seasons, Tamers, and only about half of Frontier. Anything after that is alien to me. Other than the few video games I've played, that's it. I have seen the new Digimon Adventure tri. recently, subbed because A - Crunchyroll, and B - it's in its purest form. As far as fics I wrote for Digimon, some a short, some are corny, and there's LEMON in at least two of them. Digimon is also a franchise that, when I write for it, I try to mature it a bit because, let's be honest, it's a rather silly series. Yu Yu Hakusho: I saw one episode of this on Adult Swim when I was younger, the episode when Yusuke fought Rando. And for whatever reason, it stuck with me. Recently, I watched it from start to finish, and I absolutely love it. A punk teenage boy dying and becoming a spirit detective just to get his life back, I get it. It was fun, it was never overbearingly goofy, serious but not tooserious, and honestly, Boton is just too cute. I plan on doing a rewatch soon, to refresh my memory. Yusuke vs Toguro is a battle I'll never forget, and as a whole, it's one of my favorite anime. Attack on Titan: Real talk, I've seen season one three times, once subbed, twice dubbed. I've seen season two both subbed and dubbed as well, and I plan on viewing season three both subbed and dubbed as well when I get around to it. AND, I've read the manga. I've talked behind a bit, but it makes for some good binge reading. No, I have no fanfics about AOT, not sure when or if that'll ever happen, but I have taken elements from this series and thrown it into a story of mine. Regardless, I love this series. It's dark, apocalyptic, people die, A LOT, and there are consequences to actions. Fairy Tail: Now, I'll be honest, I don't have a lot of anime under my belt, but I'll say this. This is Shōnen bullshit and I absolutely love it! Fairy Tail, for whatever reason, is just too damn charming for me to not love. It's corny and wacky, and sometimes the animation is weird, but this ensemble of characters is too lovable for me to hate. I can't even hate villains for too long because this series does the "redemption" thing with a bunch of them, but the way it's done, I just can continue hating them. I looking at you, Jellal. Now to be fair, there's a lot I don't like. There's a lack of death in this series, and the people that dodie, I couldn't give a fuck about aside from a select few. But, IMO, there's very few holes in the story. Everything means something and has significance to something or someone, and for that and other reasons, I love this series. No fics, not sure if I will or not. But again, incorporating concepts is something I have a boner for. Also Erza… Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: WHAT EVEN IS THIS!? A goddamn masterpiece is what it is. By far, this is the anime with my favorite plot line and character relationships. And, as it's not a very long anime, it's easy to sit back and watch while this convoluted mess in and around Amestris is unraveled. It hides nothing, either! What I loved most is that, I, the viewer, was shown clues and hints, or even flat out shownwho the true enemy was, the fact we found out before our protagonists Ed and Al, and rarely were clued in when theywere, is just a phenomenal touch and I love that. It made my heart pump from beginning to end. Now, I haven't seen FMA 2003, but I've heard good things and plan on doing so soon. Aware of the diverging stories, I still love a good story like these. The Seven Deadly Sins: More fun shōnen bullshit, this series made me laugh more than anything. The characters were each so unique and interesting, their incredible abilities and the banter between them was fun. And the battles were better than I expected. Dragon Ball is the undisputed king of fighting choreography, but this show might just have my second favorite fight scenes in anime ever. Both seasons are perfect length for me, there's enough to keep me engaged and entertained. To be honest, I think Meliodas' pervy tendencies towards Elizabeth are super creepy, but as the show went on, I just eventually looked passed it. I love the rest of the show to overlook it even though it isvery creepy. But, it's definitely one I look forward to seeing more of. |
