Greetings to everyone and anyone that might find their way here to my profile; pen name aside you may call me Candace and it is a pleasure to have drawn your interest.

Generally I write non-fan fiction stories but sometimes I enjoy sinking into another world and residing in it. My taste in subjects ranges and I hope to be a part of numerous sections. My writing is still in its developmental stage so I hope by taking some extra time to do fan fiction that it will improve. In fan fiction I tend to be more interested in characters that were left partially undeveloped in stories; characters that had potential but, for whatever reason known only to the author, were never fleshed out. My philosophy is that we as readers know so much about the "main characters" already that looking into the life of another tends to be more interesting. But that's just me.

I am also beginning a non-fan fiction account on this site's sister site where I will post some of my original stories. Link to come soon for all that may be interested.

Aside from writing I enjoy role-playing, both on-line and table top. I have participated in many D&D campaigns which has given me my love for High Fantasy.

I enjoy reading a variety of different books, including realms such as Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and, secretly, Twilight. I also enjoy reading manga and am lucky to have a wide variety of it within my personal library.

My taste in music is a hodgepodge of different styles. I enjoy everything, from opera to metal, classical to country, jazz to rap. I try to be open minded to all styles. My current musical muses are Lady Gaga (who in my opinion is this generation's David Bowie), Smashing Pumpkins, Travis and Tori Amos.

I’m also an amateur photographer and some of my work can be seen at Incessant-Star. I have been involved with photography for a little over a year now and it is probably my second greatest passion, next to writing.
