Honestly, I'm not too great in regards to writing, first things of course being first.

I watch things, I read things (lots of things), and I'm told that when I'm speaking, I'm extremely eloquent and thoughtful. This doesn't seem to translate into the written language though.

So, if anyone reads any of my works, I implore you to give me criticism. Hard, blunt, no-holds-barred criticism. I know that it may seem to be a big thing to ask of people, and though I may be inviting flamers to my works, I'm the same with everything I do. I want to know where I'm going wrong, and what I can do to improve, otherwise I'll never learn. I'm not a ne'er-do-well, happy to coast along thinking I'm the bee's knees (the modern definition), or at least, I try not to be. I want to get better and I try to learn different techniques.

Fon't get me wrong; I'm not one who scoffs in disbelief at someone saying they liked something I did. I love reading that someone's liked my work - there's no better feeling and everyone knows so - but if I don't get advice, I don't learn. If I don't learn, I stay exactly where I am in regards to skill level, and no one in the world wants to stay exactly where they are for the rest of their lives.

I like to think that I've improved over the years, but I probably haven't from an outsider's perspective, and that perspective is just what I'm looking for. If anyone gives me advice, no matter how delicately or non-delicately it's phrased, I would be very muchly appreciative of the fact. Thank you to anyone who does this.
