![]() Author has written 1 story for Pokémon. I've always been a lover of fanfiction and writing itself, but it never came to me to write fanfiction until recently. I'm truly passionate about writing, and have written stories and essays of my own design, but fanfiction seemed particularly difficult. What would I write about? What anime/show/game/story would I know enough about to begin with? I decided to leave it to the experts, the diamonds on this site. Then, I was inspired by Cornova's Poké Wars series. Here was a person who took so simple a concept as pokémon becoming deadly, and worked it in their own way until it became an incredible story on its own. I was inspired by this concept, by the possible implications long-term of the undampening, especially on the land and the psychology and culture of pokémon en masse. I began to consult with Cornova, and explained my purpose. The author was truly there for me, helping me to narrow down my focus. The basic idea of a Nidoqueen and a little girl was the spark Cornova gave me, and I ran with it. Both of us agree that what is coming out of that spark is completely different from what Cornova or I expected, in a good way. Creating this account and writing for you has given me a renewed boost as a writer, so I owe Cornova my thanks. The result is the story of Nida & Maya, a nidoqueen and her charge who must traverse the barren wastelands of the destroyed Kanto region to give her trainer's child a future. I hope you enjoy it. |
