Set after s7. Daenerys pursues a way to break the sourceress' curse while facing the army of the dead and trying to claim the kingdoms of her birthright. But help may come from unlikely places, and her loyal guard may have more power than he knows. Jorah and Daenerys.

What if…? Starts at the end of episode 8x03. It starts off from Jon's perspective, but don't be fooled, this is a Jorah/Daenerys fic. You have been warned. I estimate about six to seven chapters.

Jorah survives “The Long Night,” and Daenerys finally sees what’s been there all along. Inspired by the song “From the Grave” by James Arthur from the “For the Throne” album. Rated M for later lemons.
