Information for non-members

As of July 26 2010, the Group "Fanfictioners Against World Hunger" was created. There are currently 20 members responsible for 417,882 grains of rice being donated. This is the collaborative penname for the group. We're hoping for the group to go viral and make a real difference in the fight against world hunger. Both fanfiction readers and writers are encouraged to join. It mostly consists of playing freerice (see www dot freerice dot com) and trying to get your readers/friends to do the same. contact us (at this penname) if you're interested in becoming a member.

So: Here are the "rules" (they're not exactly rules, for we have not technically organized any votes on the subject, but everybody seems fairly ok with these as standing practices at the moment).
Two ways you can help are:
A) Review other people's stories and at the end of the review tell them how much rice you've donated in honor of their story, stressing that it was from freerice dot com (writing it like this or in a similarly deceptive way gets us past the fanfiction dot net censors), making sure to tell them that you are a member of Fanfictioners Against World Hunger and that they can get in contact with Loonynamelass or echoing noise to get more info.
B) Ask people to go to freerice dot com and earn rice for your stories, telling you how much they won.
In either of these scenarios, let Leanora know who you won the rice for/ who you got it from, and how much they or you earned (because we're keeping a running total.

Information for members:

This is meant as a common account for all members of Fanfictioners Against World Hunger. All members are on the favorite authors section. We can also post documents (under the document manager section) for perusal of other members of the group (they do expire after 60 days, but whatever), post stories under this pen-name (obviously) and create polls for members of the group to take. Let me know if you have any comments/suggestions for this page, or if you have any problem logging in (I'm not sure if it will allow more than one of us to be logged in at once, so that will be interesting to see). There are a couple of documents under the document manager section that all members should take note of. 1. A profile sheet for all members to sign in on. 2. An election to get certain official posts filled. Also, it seems fair to make only members be favorite authors (if anyone has any objections to this, put it to a vote in the elections section). If there's something you want other members to see, play around with that in the "favorite story" section, please.
