Will what she discover bring those around her closer or cause a deep rift among close friends, as well as lovers? Expanded scene in episode 4x07 (Lay Me Down) and a somewhat alternate 4x08 (Crush).

So I'm undertaking an alphabet style fic that will try to develop Duke and Jennifer's relationship. Overall, this is turning out to be anachronistic to the rest of the canon in the show. Still hope it's something you enjoy reading!

When Jennifer becomes uncharacteristically quiet and withdrawn after the events in the precinct in 4x09, Duke confronts her about what actually happened and what had caused her hallucinations. Jennifer opens up to Duke about a past relationship that caused her current insecurities. Then, set after the season 4 finale, her past comes back to haunt her. (Really starts in Ch. 4)

Duke hears Jennifer rummaging through his kitchen at two in the morning, trying to make hot chocolate after a nightmare. A story about a scene in episode 409 "William". What I think that could be possibly happen after it. The scene is the one where Jennifer apologizes to Duke for all the crazy and jealous things she did and said that day to him while she was under the influence of that little black blob in her brains. Duke responded that she could make up for it later. What would Jennifer do?
