Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a sixteen year old girl from Denmark - you know, in Europe. I attend to a school for gifted children - no, it's not school for telepaths, empaths, and elementals, though that would be awesome - it's a school for children with a high IQ.

In the Harry Potter part of this site I usually read time travel fics, but I enjoy a lot of other genres: AUs with Remus as Harry's guardian, creature fics, missing moments, severitus, marauder era, and reincarnation fics. I don't really like stories where Harry is evil - it just seems wrong somehow

Apart from that I read Twilight fics that corresponds to canon, and some that are AU, and then I read this one My Little Pony crossover with Princess Luna as Harry's invisible friend, and an occasional fic for some movie I like at the time - if anyone has seen "How to train your dragon", I know a great fic which covers the whole movie plus some extra moments from Toothless' point of view.

My favorite HP character is Professor Remus John Lupin, because he is always calm and mild, and when people insult him, he just smiles and walks away.

My favorite Twilight character is Carlisle Cullen because of his strength of will, his seemingly endless patience, and his determination not to solve anything with violence. That, and I love the idea of him having lived through Darwin's publishing of "The origin of species", both world wars, the invention of the light bulb, and the invention of the radio. Think of all the knowledge he must have acclaimed!

My favorite Septimus Heap character is Extraordinary Wizardess(?) Marcia Overstrand. She is so oblivious of the fact that everyone finds her very frightening, and she has a sharp tounge.

My favorite Kindom Hearts character has always been Naminé, for some reason. I think it is because she seems so fragile, mysterious, and innocent.

The best Twilight fic I've read is "This my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased" by Minisinoo. It is about the events leading up to Edwards change. It keeps very much to canon and real history. AND it's well written. I can really recommend it:)

Edit: OK, I think I've just read the best realistic book in the world. We had a subject about civil rights in school, and as a part of this we watched "The Help". I fell in love with the movie, and immediately went out and bought it. Then my teacher mentioned in an off-hand comment that she liked the way the movie stayed true to the book, and I just had to order it at the library. I read the first few pages:

"Mae Moebly was born on a early Sunday morning in August, 1960. A church baby we like to call it. Taking care a white babies, that's what I do, along with all the cooking and the cleaning. I done raised seventeen kids in my lifetime. I know how to get them babies to sleep, stop crying, and go in the toilet bowl before they mamas even get out a bed in the morning." (from the first paragraph in "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett.)

And just like that, I was hooked. The characters seem so real I almost can't believe it, and their lives and thoughts are so enthralling, I just couldn't stop reading.

It is probably the best book I've read, and I warmly recommend it! That was it, thank you.
