(AU Series) Toss the Twilight Zone experience of Season 5 into the proverbial trash can. These stories pick up after Steele of Approval. Remington and Laura cross the line, creating what many fans would call the "Mr. & Mrs. Steele" feeling of Season 4. This installment of the series picks up immediately after the assassination attempt on the Earl's life.

Steele Searching Part II never explained how Steele and Laura reached an agreement that he was coming home to LA. Their split this round had been anything but simple, she nearly rendezvousing with Westfield, he leaving for London. Steele and Laura work out the details here as well as a couple of points that has continually caused the struggle in their relationship.

(Canon Series) Part 1 of the Be Steele My Heart Series, this takes place during Season 5's Steeled With A Kiss. Remington copes with the loss of Daniel while Laura and he mend their relationship. Begins at Daniel's death and continues through 'when the lights go out.'

Set during the midway point of Steele Searching, Laura finds a doctor willing to come to the flop house to care for Steele. His medical crisis provides an opportunity for Steele and Laura to start the healing of their personal relationship, damaged when she abruptly ended it once more in LA. Provides insight on the episode as well as backdrop for future stories.
