Erm, what exactly am I supposed to say here?

I'm heading into my sophomore year of college. I don't know what my major will be. I like to write - although it's been a while since I wrote fiction - and to draw, but I also like to eat... I watch far too many movies of all genres, read whatever strikes my fancy, and fence any style I can find opponants for (not that I'm good at any of them, mind you).

Some of my favorite authors:
--Garth Nix (Sabriel, Shade's Children)
--Jane Austen (esp. P&P)
--Sherwood Smith (CD)
--Thomas Harris (Silence of the Lambs)
--Gregory Maguire (Wicked, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister)
--David Sedaris (Me Talk Pretty One Day)
--Gaston Leroux (PotO)
--Todd Strasser (The Wave, Give a Boy a Gun)
--Ken Kesey (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest)
--Naomi Klein (No Logo)
There are [many more, but you get the idea. I like dry humor/satire, dystopias, girl-saves-world fantasy, 17-19 century romance, political critiques... I'm extremely picky, so I can't "afford" to stick to one genre.

My taste in movies is similar, but slightly expanded. I'll watch most anything with Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Anthony Hopkins, Hugh Jackman, or Richard Armitage.

I loathe bad grammar. Including my own. So, please leave me a friendly note if you find my butchery of the English language offensive (preferably your note will make a suggestion for fixing the problem). I want to get better; I really do!

Hmmmm... That's all I can think of for now. Thanks for reading.
