I write to live and live to write. I'm currently a professional writer working in what some might call a technical field (aka, the news biz). I've always wanted to be a novelist. But after six years of writing for a paycheck, I've lost my spark, my will to bring my own stories to the page. More than a decade ago, I spent my life on LiveJournal writing My Chemical Romance fanfiction. They were my first stories, my first novels, my first introduction to a writing community. I was in love. More than anything, that's what I'm hoping to find here. Hell, if what's-her-face can turn a Twilight fanfic into a best-selling series (Read: 50 Shades of Grey) then why can't I? Answer: We all can. |
