![]() Author has written 4 stories for Vocaloid. Hello, inquisitive user. I am chromodynamic, a writer of both fanfiction and original fiction, oneshots and series'. I am a fan of Vocaloid, Warhammer 40k, and Team Fortress 2. You can call me Chromo, or Jack. I can write anything from sagacious sci-fi to scintillating swordplay to straight-up smut, but most of the time I write about relatively dark themes. I write to unwind and to empty my mind of the many ideas I have. If you were wondering, the name chromodynamic is derived from the scientific field of Quantum Chromodynamics, and Jack is simply my birth name. I suffer from depression and anhedonia, but I'm getting treatment. Don't fret over me. I've got enough people worrying over me already, thank you. I'll stop procrastinating later. I don't know when. I lack an editor, so if you pick up any mistakes do not hesitate to contact me. I don't bite, I swear. Atheist, straight, male, single, half-dead. That's me. Current works: Existentialism - Vocaloid Fanfiction - Sci-Fi/Suspense - This story is set in the near-future (Consider it to be a Megaman game. 'In the year 20XX...'), in an undetermined country. The main protagonist is a 21 year-old guy called Johnathan Christopher Moody, or just John Moody for short. Now, you see, John is not happy with life. He is not okay, and that is exactly why he's just begun on the long, painful path to drinking himself into oblivion. Through mere chance, he stumbles across an unusual specimen in a tavern one night - a 16 year-old girl who calls herself Hatsune Miku, whatever that means. John finds himself unable to walk away from this enigma of a girl. As he learns more and more about who she is and what she is, John becomes tangled in a daunting conspiracy that challenges not only corporate and capitalist values, but the very nature of humanity itself. Existentialism has a particular focus on the themes of ethical crimes, philosophical questions and psychological effects. It is not an OC - CC ship, either, because 'that be bad'. Instead of the conventional girlfriend-boyfriend paradigm, expect it to become more of a brother-sister or father-daughter relationship. Existentialism: Old Scars - Vocaloid Fanfiction - Sci-fi/Suspense - One of two planned sequels for Existentialism. One year after the events of Existentialism, John is still trying to find a way of rescuing Miku - and, at long last, he finally finds one. Existentialism: Fresh Wounds - Vocaloid Fanfiction - Sci-fi/Suspense - The second of two sequels planned for Existentialism, from Miku's perspective. Awakening in a strange, unfamiliar place one year after the events of Existentialism, can Miku escape and make it back to the only person who cares about her? The Price We Pay - Original Fiction - Sci-Fi/Action - This story (referred to as simply The Price) is an original novel set in the 22nd Century. It follows the tale of an uncommonly smart guy called Oska Vera Winters. I won't tell you too much about it, other than it's bloody, action-packed and full of tech. The Price We Pay had gone through several title changes over the years, most prominently The Evolution of Transhumanism and Machina: Deos Ex Hominum Origo (meaning Machine: The Gods of Human Origin), and was something I started writing a good five years ago. However, I recently came to realise that the quality did not live up to the standard it should, so I started a rewrite. God-Shard Series (Swords and Shards, Spirits and Stones, Songs and Storms) Original Fiction - Fantasy/Adventure/Drama - The God-Shard Series follows a group of ten demi-gods (referred to as God-Shards) as they travel across the breadth of Maraenai, becoming legends as they do so. |
