Murdoc has been the owner of the Point Nemo Lighthouse for many years now. His love for marine life is stronger than his hatred of people. Loneliness eats away at him day by day. When the island is shaking and 2D hears relentless gunfire outside, he can't help but feel like something is terribly wrong. With his door accidentally left unlocked, 2D goes to investigate and search for Murdoc. Part three in the works. Murdoc and 2D need each other. Murdoc and Noodle become better friends. 2D finds Murdoc drunk and upset one night, and tries to get him to talk about what's bothering him. Hurt, understanding, and revelations all follow. 2Doc. Set in Phase 2. Established relationship. TW for brief mentions of child abuse. Sort of a prequel to my other fic, Naked.

2D bought an apartment, he just wanted to get away from everything involving Gorillaz after the El Mañana tragedy. Murdoc bought an island, he just wanted to make a new album. And he's going to need his singer for that. (Will eventually be 2Doc)

2D can't sleep with all the women Murdoc is continuing to bring home and if it wasn't bad enough Murdoc threatens to beat him up if he doesn't do him a favor involving another one-night-stand with a bird.
