 12/24/08 I'm re-doing my profile today, because I'm bored... Yeah, I know it's Christmas Eve. I should be spazzing over presents I forgot to wrap or broken tree ornaments that my dog decided to chew on... but not this year, because for once everything's taken care of, which means I'm free to write fanfiction on one of the biggest holidays of the year! :D About my Avatar pic: This is the cast of the Twilight movie (well, some of them). I saw it on opening night. To be honest, I really didn't have high hopes for it, but I was wrong. It's a great film, as good as the book. I'm looking forward to seeing New Moon in a couple of years. What else could you want to know about me? My favorite color is blue, but I also enjoy green and black. I live in Texas, USA, and my favorite place in the world was Galveston island until Hurricane Ike came along. My current obsessions include Harry Potter, Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga, the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series, Indiana Jones, and paleontology. Yeah, I know, kind of random. On October 25th, I saw the King Tut exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art; it was amazing! I highly recommend it, and if you go, pay the extra eight dollars or whatever for the audio tour. It really helps. My friend (who goes by the pen name of Maira Blue on this site - check out her POTC/HP crossover, please) has introduced me to Avatar: The Last Airbender fanfiction, and I've gotten completely caught up in it. I loved the show (Sozin's Comet was awesome, but I still can't believe it's over!). The fanfics in that category are amazing. My first HP story, The Choices We Make, has recently been deleted. I decided to delete it for several reasons; mostly because I knew I would probably never get over my writer's block to finish the next chapter. I have a couple of other fic ideas floating around in my head, so I might post one of them sometime soon. I'm currently messing around with the first chapter of a very similar story, but which takes place after fifth year and is much darker. It may be posted in January. |
