My name is Kimberly. I’m 18 and a senior at a small high school in a rural Texas town. I’m attending Stephen F. Austin State University in fall 2010 to major in Speech/Language Pathology. I feel that God has pulled me to this path and I’m more than ready to take the leap. I’m pretty fearless. That’s something I’ve learned through past experiences, which have made me the person I am today. Five days before my 16th birthday, my father was admitted to the hospital with an infection that would permanently disable him. This has had a major impact of my life, as well as my mother’s and two brother’s lives. I’m a really strong person, and although I’m unafraid to show emotion, I feel obligated to be my normal self, which is happy and bubbly. Typically, I am a happy person. I set out to please others and that is a blessing from God and also one of my biggest downfalls. I make friends easily, but I have one that stands out above the rest and she’s the one person that I can count on for anything; Miss Adriane Kristine Chapin. My mother and I are really close, and that’s something that I’m very proud of. I could tell her anything. I’m single and have been for the past 18 years. I’m in love with art, reading, being with my best friend, and texting. Also, Jesus Christ died for my sins.
