What if Dumbledore was out-maneuvered and was late for Harry's hearing for underage magic? Harry ends up expelled but he will not take the unfair and condescending treatment by the Magical World any longer. One-shot. McGonagall finally got to awaken the statues in the Battle of Hogwarts, but she wanted to do it for a long time. Given all the times she missed her chance, it was no wonder she was so eager when the time came.

Harry has had enough and fights for his freedom from abuse and Dumbledore mainly by suing the hell out of everybody. He actually wins and Dumbles loses. But nothing stops Dumbles from getting his way and a new war starts, one which poor Voldie isn't invited to participate in. Complete.

The Master of Death, Harry Potter, wakes one cold spring morning in Westeros. He has no idea why he's there - or how he'll get back. Harry always had bad luck, but a lot of persistence. He'll need it. Winter is Coming.

Most self-inserts are exercises in vanity, and nothing says 'vanity' quite like Gilderoy Lockhart. But with a new personality and knowledge of the future, who knows? Maybe Lockhart will turn out to be a useful DADA teacher after all.

Because he committed the "sin" of losing the Tournament, Harry is framed and sent to Azkaban. He makes friends with the least likely people and then he and one other are rescued by his true friends. He makes a truce and decides to "punish the wicked" and all those who made his life hell and betrayed him.

Harry has a Christmas surprise for everybody - but they definitely won't like it. Harry escapes and with the help of the Goblins will attempt to out those who have been harming him and the Magical World. Will he succeed or will Dumbles triumph as usual?

To his horror Dumbledore finds out Harry, Petunia and Dudley are missing and have been for years. His name is still listed in the Hogwarts Book of Names and has him alive and living at 4 Privet Drive. A frantic search is started to "rescue the boy" but also to save Dumbledore's reputation and his carefully laid plans.

Rufus doesn't know why Harry Potter thinks him such a villain, but he certainly does not appreciate the churlish attitude. Canon scene from a different POV

Arcturus Lord Black is Head of the House of Black. He wants the line to continue but all of his possible heirs are either rebellious, stupid, indifferent, lazy, insane, evil or married badly.
