They were coming to the tiny town of Sakura for something important, something powerful. And one monster, with claws and fangs and blood-soaked silver hair, was the centre of all of it. Kagome is struggling to cope with balancing two worlds - the responsibilities in modern Tokyo and the danger of the past. She's faced off with demons in the Sengoku Jidai with the help of her friends. But can she handle a confrontation in the modern era, with no weapon and friends to help her? And how can she cope with her growing emotional attachment to an oblivious half demon?

Post Manga. After the three year separation, Inuyasha and Kagome are finally together as a couple. There will be little bumps in the road along the way, but its all part of the learning experience. And they plan to learn everything about and every inch of the other-little by little.

Kagome knew, deep down, that something was terribly wrong. She looked around, took in the houses and people and cars. This wasn't right. This wasn't where she was supposed to be. But Kagome had no idea where the right place was. She was lost, floating. And even the most familiar of faces were complete strangers, like the boy with long black hair and a permanent scowl. InuKag.

It starts with: "I am really sorry, but I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend for like five minutes so my best friend doesn't pity me." It ends, however, a little bit differently. InuKag.

Kagome has been gone for many years, and it is time or her family to accept she won't be coming back, not even to visit. Kagome's mother has accepted this and gets a gift from The God Tree in return for her peace, a chest containing fragments of Kagome's life.

OneShot. Post-manga, canon universe. Several months after Kagome returns to the Sengoku Jidai, the village celebrates both a successful harvest and a wedding. Rated for citrus content.
