![]() Hi there, thanks for visiting (not that there's any need to). I'm a big fan of The Smiths, and as soon as I get the 'nads to upload a story, you'll probably see an influence by them. Other musical icons include The Stone Roses, The Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, David Bowie, Joy Division/New Order, The Cure, Fleetwood Mac, Black Sabbath, Kiss, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, Pink Floyd, Linkin Park, Kasabian and many others. I think if you followed me here for my username, your probably going to want a rundown of my top 10 Smiths songs. Well even if you didn't, here they are: 1) Asleep 2) Well I Wonder 3) Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want 4) This Night Has Opened My Eyes 5) There Is A Light That Never Goes Out 6) Reel Around The Fountain 7) I Want The One I Can't Have 8) I Know It's Over 9) I Won't Share You 10) Stretch Out And Wait My favourite book has got to be Fitzgerald's 'This Side of Paradise,' followed closely by 'The Perks of Being A Wallflower' and 'Catcher in the Rye.' So yeah, angsty teen stuff that I should have grown out of. Series wise I've read Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, and these are probably going to be the worlds that any future work will be based in, whilst I've also read Lord of the Rings, from the 'Silmarillion' to 'The Return of the King.' What else do people put in these things... Errr films? Yeah, Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, The Dark Knight Trilogy, but top of the list has got to be 'Senna.' It's based on my favourite sport (Formula One), and is spell-binding, even if you don't enjoy watching cars going round in circles, because of the sheer human passion and mercurial nature of the self titled driver. So yeah that's me in three paragraphs... Wow, that's depressing. Almost as much as Morrissey on repeat. Almost. |
