Hey. I'm codenamepapabear, both here and on tumblr (the name's taken from my tumblr RP account for Col. Hogan), but I usually go by Jo.

I've been a fan of Hogan's Heroes for several years. I enjoy the MCU (Marvel films) as well, but I've mostly left that fandom. I'm at a transitional phase in my fandom interests, so I'm making my foray into the HH fandom. I've found the community to be wonderful so far, though I'm not especially active on ff.net. I apologize for that.

I'm primarily a RPer, as I mentioned earlier, but I've been dabbling in fic-writing as well. Some of what I write is slash, some is not. The only pairing I write or read is Hogan/Newkirk, since I'm not a multishipper and I much prefer non-ship fic that focuses more on plot and characterization.

I try to keep a similarity to canon material, making what I write as close as possible to something that might happen in the show. When it's not, I will try to make it plainly evident as such, but characterization is one of the most important parts of writing, and I want my stories to be plausible most of all.

With this in mind, I greatly appreciate feedback. Joining the HH.net fandom has been rather intimidating for me, since I'm new, unimportant, and inexperienced, and I stay away from the forums and such for that reason. However, I'm trying to get past my mental blocks and participate a little more.
