Greetings fellow literature and game enthusiasts. My name is Carmen, (hence my pen-name, the misspelling was made purposefully because I have a really corny sense of humour, I can actually spell. A little.)

Gender: Female.

Age: I may not drink alcohol just yet, more's the pity. I'm getting there though, :P

Console: I use a computer, (mine even has a name, d'awww!). Oh, and occasionally I'll play on my brother's PS3, but mostly for Guitar Hero or Uncharted. I mean, how do people play first-person shooters on a PS3 or XBox? What sorcery is that?!

Music: Wow...um...that is a bit problematic to define. -takes deep breathe- I really love Marina and the Diamonds, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, Lana Del Rey, Muse, Billy Idol, Noah and the Whale, The Vaccines, Depeche Mode, The Killers...seriously, if I were to go through each one, you'd be reading this for a really, really long time. I just like music and I'm open to everything from Classical to pirate metal, just so long as it sounds good and is unique. (but I particularly enjoy Indie and 40's jazz, just saying)

Movies: Serenity, Kick-Ass, Star Wars (all of them, but obviously the older ones were better), LotR, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, V for Vendetta, The Time Machine, The Avengers (and Marvel movies in general), Amelie, stuff like that. I like good movies in general. Preferably Sci-Fi though,

Series: Firefly, Dollhouse, The Office (U.S) the eX Files (South African Spoof) The Big Bang Theory, Chuck, The Flight of the Conchords, Fringe, Dr. Who, Cowboy Bebop and Sherlock.

Games: Mass Effect!! All of them!! :D -composes self- Ahem, and No one Lives Forever 1 and 2, Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic (all of the games, including the MMORPG), Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Batman Arkham City, Armed and Dangerous, Mirror's Edge, Mount & Blade: Warband and Tomb Raider. Stuff like that.

Books: The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis, Jurassic Park, The Lost World, The Journey to the Center of the Earth, the Spud series by John van de Ruit, 1984 by George Orwell, Sherlock Holmes books, anything Sci-Fi, Fantasy or Detective-y. :P
