![]() Author has written 11 stories for Zorro. I am a self-employed chocolatier who loves writing, classic TV, classic films, and things of inspirational content. I am in the middle-age stage of life, married nearly 25 years. (I waited for the right guy, and he finally came along). I have two college degrees in mass communications, and I took an online two-year writing course. While in college, in a scriptwriting class, I 'won' the best grade in the class (an A) for a MASH script I wrote. (the professor was the 'judge') Unfortunately for me, unsolicited scripts were not accepted - but I'll still have fun writing...that's the only reason I'm doin' it! :-) I am now taking an online eight-month advanced fiction-writing class. Hopefully, I'll get better and better. I've watched the Zorro videos either on DVD and/or RTV/YouTube since November 2011. I own the complete sets of both. I know the NWZ better than Disney, because I've had them longer and watched them more. I know the stories and characters well. I love to pick out obscure things or not so obscure things from the episodes, and place them in the stories. My philosophy about writing on FanFiction: I like to be true to the characters as they were portrayed on screen. If I'm not sure how they would react in a certain situation, I defer to producer's intent, and how they may have portrayed the original incident on the shows - if there is a similar situation presenting itself. I also believe that every good story has a beginning, a middle, and an end! There are so many different stories to tell! I usually have several story ideas going on in my head at any one given time. Some of them are developed quickly, some of them sit a while until they've percolated, and it could be possible that some are not developed at all. I also pretty much have the story finished, or at least well along in outline form (for me - that's major plot points) - before I post even one chapter! That's why I can post quickly between one story and the next. As soon as one story is finished - even though it's not fully posted (because it gets tweaked a lot along the way) - the next one's already well underway! I'm using FanFiction as a way to develop my writing skills. I'm hoping someday to actually write for money. In the meantime, I'm learning and writing for fun. I once read something a highly published author wrote. The gist is: write for yourself, for the enjoyment of it. If others like what you've written, all the better. Hope that helps you understand me a little bit better - and why and how I write what I write. :-) Update: With the advent of 2013, I will be working with chocolate and developing a historical fiction novel...so I won't be seeing you for quite some time. I've appreciated all the reviews. I do not get offended and try to learn from everyone. My goal is to become a published author in the next couple of years - besides working with chocolate. But I am extremely grateful for all your support. Blessings to all! | |||||||
