ABOUT ME: I am a college student who lives in the United States. I enjoy cooking, studying Chinese language, eating, cross-stitching, playing my flute, reading and of course, writing (that’s why I am here). I have been somewhat inactive in this community for a length of time due to life’s craziness. Well, I’m back, and I plan to curse this planet with my writing until the day I die (which is no time soon).

WHY I WRITE: I started out writing for the sake of my teachers, then for my friends, and now I can say that I write for me, because I want to. If my works are not your taste, that’s all right. To each his own; I get that. This does not mean that I don’t want (crave!!!) constructive criticism. I seek to be the best I can be. If you would be so kind as to point out something I could do better, I would appreciate the help. If, however, you send me a flame, I will laugh at you. Don’t like it, don’t read it.

WHAT I WRITE: Fan fiction, obviously, but that’s not even close to all of it. I have a growing number of personal narratives that have won me a considerable amount of recognition. I write original fantasy novels and short stories. I worked on Yearbook for a year and did decently there (nonfiction is not my true love – there are entirely too many rules you have to follow when writing about reality). And, being a student, I have way too many analytical essays. I typically don’t mess with poetry too much. My muse doesn’t work that way.

The reason I don’t post them here is because I am toying with the idea of publishing them someday. (No promises.) If I put them online, they are considered “published” and therefore will not be accepted by publishing companies. That’s why I love fan fiction so much. I can’t publish them so it’s purely for the joy of writing. Everyone is just here to enjoy reading, writing, and critiquing. This has been an amazing opportunity to get feedback and to learn about writing in a safe, anonymous community.

SOME QUIRKS IN MY WRITING: I cannot work on one story at a time. I just don’t work that way. I have to have several projects that I can work on at the same time. As a result, there are a lot of unfinished works here. Some stories tend to get more time than others. If I haven’t updated for a while it doesn’t (necessarily) mean I’ve abandoned it. I also have handwritten pages on several stories that I keep forgetting to type. So yes, my page is a jumble of unfinished, half-edited stories. Sorry for the chaos…but I’m told that most artists resent organization…?
